Replacing left members in clan wars

No, it would not be and would get highly abused. It would be an easy matter to set up ringer bases that match up in numbers to a weaker one. This would be easy no matter what stats they use, guys would just adapt the scam to fit. Then they would do their matchmaking with the weak ones and then get the ringers swapped in after to create an unbalanced war.


I notice that you can only think how to deal with the issue after it has occurred and I think that is the root of why you are having problems. You should instead put in rules and policies that expose and filter off the hoppers ahead of time so you are not taking them into wars. Solve the problem before it happens. Not after.

Sorry for being stupid, but I don't understand how people could create an unfair balance if members were swapped based on their level.

I'm not having problems i just think that this would be a good thing whether people prevent the problem before or after. Most of the people who have left during our war have been in the clan for a while. Is there anything wrong with posting an idea and then adapting it when people find flaws that I have missed?!

Sorry you can't see it. I don't know how to make it any clearer than I did. Perhaps you should just go play the game for a while and get a better understanding of how things work with levels (be it experience or tr0ophies) and how they have little to do with war strength. That would also allow you to get more experience at clan management under your belt after which I think you would have a better idea of how to head problems (this and many others ) off at the pass rather than trying to figure out how to fix things after you messed up and let them happen.

Right after you say you are not having problems you then describe problems you are having.

I did not realize you are having a problem with people leaving after hey have been around for a while (I am assuming 'a while' means more than a few days') that is much more serious and says you have something more deeply wrong with the clan. You war impact is minor because what you describe is a clan that is about to fall apart completely. I think you need to examine it and decide what is going wrong that is making a lot of long term loyal members decide to just up and leave suddenly. if they are not just giving notice but quitting in the middle of a war that shows they are feeling disgust with something else that is going on.

As far as hoppers, they are much easier, you just don't opt them in until they have spectated through at least one full war or I actually do 2-3. Hoppers don't have the patience to wait through that so it filters them off and you are better for having them leave.

Why is this forum so serious? All I did was post a rubbish idea and everyone starts having a go at me for it. I accept that it is a bad idea and that there is a massive variation between people of the same level, as there is between people of the same town hall and trophies meaning that there is no way of sorting people accurately.
I didn't post this idea as a way of sorting out only my problems, I assumed that maybe other players get this and it could improve the clan war setup
I don't want this to turn into some ridiculous heated argument

My clan isn't a high level serious clan, we are really just your average crappy one. I know it is falling apart and as the coleader I am trying to help it get better again. If that doesn't happen I will have to go and join a different clan.
i really didn't expect people to get so worked up about this.

Its not heated. I did not realize it was a troll game, sorry. Its because we do have guys post that who are serious, even get crappy with us for not praising them for how smart they are.

I was simply trying to tell you straight what the issue was without just coming out and saying that these were noob type issues.

Ok sorry i think I have taken this in the wrong way. I just interpreted your first message in the wrong way and didn't understand your tone of voice. I don't expect people to praise me for how smart I am, I am more that happy for criticism.
Reviewing the thread I can see how I have been an idiot and taken people's meanings the wrong way.
