Replacing left members in clan wars

Hi, I find it really annoying when I start a clan war in my clan and some of the members leave. It means that we will probably lose the war or definitely have much less chance in it. I think that there should be some way of replacing members who have left the clan in the wars. I have also seen some clans where members have joined, started a war and made their war base so that it is easy to get 3 stars on and then left. Having a way of replacing members who have left during a war would stop people from doing this.

during matchmaking, I'll just use weak members, or second accounts, and once we get matched up with weak opponents, I'll just replace the weak members with TH8+

They could make it so that you can only replace members of the same town hall.

Still too risky, there's quite a gap between an inexperienced town hall 7 preemie, and a fully maxed drag using th7. I'm sure there's something like this with all the other town halls, but I'm a TH7 so I chose that.

What about swapping by level then? Have a window of about five levels

Too many "ifs". When you keep having to make exceptions, it's usually an indicator that your idea isn't going to work.:(

I'm not making exceptions, I'm just changing my idea slightly because people have said how it might not work

Yeah, and what I'm saying is that this is getting too complicated -- if you have people constantly leaving in the middle of a war, you might need to either a) war with fewer people who you know will stay or b) wait longer to start a war with new people

My problem is people leaving during prep day so as long as you can swap them out then, that would be good

I would love this idea if they made it work some how
