Who is going to pay for the money SC loses? Gem boosts aren't free....
They did so in more "international" holidays like New Years or Christmas in the spirit of the season.
Besides, most of my neighbours have no idea what Easter is and find it hilarious that a bunny hides eggs... (seriously... Why the heck is there a bunny?)
So basically, SC will do 1-gem boosts when they want to, and most likely not until the end of this year.
