When a person requests troops and you click donate, the box pops up with what you have available.
Now reverse that,
When a person requests troops a box pops up with the troop options, they choose what they are requesting.
Now only the troop/troops selected is what can be donated.
Personally I hate getting goblins.
Personally I hate getting five archers when I ask for loons or minions.
I kick people out who can't follow requests, because we don't have this feature.
I make people donate me dragons.....

But more specificly for this problem, I wish I could place conditions on troops receiveable, a technical restriction that lasts for a certain time, maybe 20 minutes, maybe 1 hour. Some restriction is important. If someone asks for something that is not going to be provided, I don't want to see the request forced to hang there until scrolled off the bottom.
I also woruldn't mind choosing what fellow clan members can give to you. I often ask for hogs or dragons during war and get wizzards and archers (which are great, but are NOT dragons or hogs). As rwelshjr said though, if someone gives you wrong troops, you can just kick them.
Lower level players in my clan often ask for expensive stuff without good reason. I let them wait, then later give something else. Any technical restriction should allow for that.Quote:

Second this..on more than one occasion I have had to write out a clan wide mail message reminding people to not treat those who request specific troops as their trash can for unwanted troops. I have had tight war attack windows messed up because I needed a PEKKA for a GOWIPE and got a dragon...it is a stupid mess that can be fixed by highlighting which troops are acceptable when asking..and there could even be an 'any' option. Simple, awesome, and necessary fix. Great idea!
We have a member always donating barbs there should be a way to control what can be donated I had the same thing happen going to war instead of golem coming out its barbs and wbs now I just have to check what's in cc everytime. Were still hunting that member.
I would like this along with level requirement. It drives me up the wall when someone gives me a dragon when I want balloons or something. Dragons are cool but I don't always want them.
Level req would be for war donations really. When I ask for balloons I need at least level 5. Any other time I don't mind level since the lower guys want to contribute also.

Considering that you have not kicked the problem member and the aversion to checking things before attacking I think you are the greater cause of your problems than the guy donating garbage. he game does not need to make adjustments to allow for someone to be that lackadaisical.
The key word you said there is a developing clan. COC should not be changed to cover for a clans deficiencies (even if they are 'developing') It should leave it to them to develop and correct those deficiencies, or not and suffer the consequences.Quote:

What you call a 'tough run clan' is simply a well organized one. It has a leader that knows how to manage and has gotten everyone on the same page. And you are mistaken that you can't do that and be nice, a well managed clan is generally a much nicer and more relaxed environment. It is also the one that is better at taking in struggling young players and helping them grow into good players. Kicking guys that refuse to learn not to disrupt that flow is not being mean. In fact, a weak leader without the will to make those moves is being mean to the rest of the clan for not doing so. And a bottom line for all suggestions is that the game should not be imposing things to cover the deficiencies of weak leaders. Its a competition and in order to to have its winners it must also have its losers and so that is where the weak ones fit into the picture.Quote:
