How do I get Dark Elixer?

I am a town hall 7 with 2100 dark elixer. My dark elixer drill is upgrading to level 2. If possible, I would like to get a barb king this weekend. Is that possible? Also, what is a good attacking strategys and trophy range for looting dark elixer. Thanks for your help.

War is a good way to get DE. I get 1500+ each war (: (I'm TH7 so it's decent loot for me)

You find bases that have more DE than you're spending attacking. Look for 750 on up. Depending on troop level, 6 wb, 8 giants, 6-8 wizards and a 2-1 ratio of archers and barbs... I use healers a lot finding them effective if laid out mid attack after the ckosest AD is taken out.

When you get close to your needed 10k of DE... Gem your drill.

I go for all dragons. The DE and everything is just extra

OMG When I Was Th7 I had the worst time getting dark elixir :( I couldn't upgrade my Barbarian King to Lvl 5 until TH8.

Tbh, DE is hard to get at TH7. The best way is like the above said, War, and also using dragon attacks when farming. Go to Silver I or Gold III. They have more dark elixir. But when you farm you can't easily get it with barbs/archers/giants. You gotta go hard. Dragons.

That tends to be expensive so make sure you max out on elixir then just go hard on dragons and rage spells. Make sure the bases you are attacking have at least 500 DE. Hope it helps :)

It gets easier in TH8+ trust me :) Make sure you got your drills upgraded as well!

lol i dont think farming w/ drags is a good idea

As th7 get first maybe hard after that get 20-50k everyday

TH7 is the hardest TH to get DE but not impossible. Back then we didn't even have a drill at TH7. Push up to 1800+ and you can make 10k DE easily using Barch on exposed storages (behind one wall), or dead bases with DE drills.

Push to 1800.

Use lightning on any storage over 1200 DE.
Or use a barch army with WB if storage is exposed ( behind one layer ).
Look for DE drills outside and use archers on them.
The best, fastest and easiest way is to zap storages. Especially th9 storages since they cant revenge you due to loot penatly. A single boost sessions of lightning and barch should get 10k.
