Th10 is superior to th9. You just need to deal with it. More reason to not stay and max th9. Thanks for sharing (;
tbf, he used giants and hogs (targets defenses)
used 4 spells
used CC troops
and has a max lvl AQ, and almost max lvl BK

Honestly this as happened to me before a few times and thats why i decided to upgrade my town all to 10. To me there is no longer any point in fully maxing Th9 after defenses are done. Get all your walls to level 9 if you have the time then thats a wrap.
I'm up to 60 Lavas, the rest lego, and been maxed defenses for ages, and all traps. Heroes 19(AQ) and 15(BK) 600+ GG.. blah blah blah
I've tried many base layouts, cc troop combos, whatever man. I have firmly concluded that a Th10 can wreck ANY townhall 9 farming base, they just have too much firepower. I'm not saying that you cant defend against them here and there, but it also depends on what you call 'defended'. Ask any Town Hall 10 on here and they will let you know that they can destroy you, even with your Legos or lava walls.
I was on #TeamMaxTownHall9 but after getting wrecked repeatedly, i finally see it is a lost cause, especially with the addition of Lavaloonions running the show in war.
There is nothing more demoralizing than seeing a base you have been working on for a Year + getting smashed to bits, and there was nothing you did wrong, you just got beat.
...And then i pushed the upgrade button. 5 more days and hello max troops...
You need a new base my man if this happens to you.

Well your mortars are on the outside and not covering each other, so that makes BARCH easier to swarm when they are taken out on one side. Heroes go in and clean out the wiz towers while everything else swarms the point d. Seems plausible when executed with precision.
I'm not saying it's a dire weakness of your base, it will happen often, or anything like that. I can just see them taking out 2 mortars on one side and funneling everything down to the core with those beefy heroes.
If anything I think this shows just how OP high lvl heroes are (especially lvl 40 or near maxed).
Absolutely nothing you can do.
Still, quite impressive to see 100% on a quite upgraded 9 with just a basic barch core comp.
All you really need are lvl 3 infernos. That pretty much will halt the majority of 3 stars by 10's.
When I was a maxed TH9 (lavas and heroes) my base was always wrecked by a full on TH10 assaults (farming and war).
A higher TH always will destroy a lower TH, maxed or otherwise. Such is CoC life.
Max heroes? Why are you even surprised or bothered by this? Say good game, and go raid whatever loot you lost. It has zero relevance to your overall progress. It is also a very rare occurrence.
That wasn't a barch attack. It was an attack that had mostly barbs/archers. That base isn't setup good to protect from barch. Mortars on the edge? 3 cannons outside the walls?? Switch the wiz towers and mortars.
Still max heroes, that's bad luck for you. As a th9, I very rarely get attacked. Worst loss was 2 lix/gold storages by a th10, with spells and heroes. Did you have any troops in your cc??
Let me ask, when you re-watch the replay, both heroes + 4x heal spell should be clearing 25-40% of your buildings ?
Giants to tank initially, barch to clear outside buildings and pathing.
Hogs in between or late to either splash/point defenses, depending on saving the heroes or barchers.
Heroes into core and clean up one by one, at such high/max level heroes, each heal spell will recover them like immortals.
Then, the balance alive troops clean up for 100%
First, he used other troops then just barch...and he has a maxed queen. Seems to be a good attack with good troops. This usually means ur base gets pooped on :p
4 giants and a few hogs when using mass barbs and archers still equates to a basic barch army...so essentially it was barch. Those aren't good troops, it's a basic farm comp with tier 1 troops.
Obviously the key point here being the high lvl royals. That was the deciding factor, not his attack or troop comp....not to mention they were maxed troop lvls also. Throw in a few spells and it's GG and that applies to any higher TH attacking a lower when they have a full tier higher troops let alone lvl 25+ royals.
Hell, when I was a TH9 I could 100% max TH8's all day with a basic barch core and my lvl 30 heroes as well. It was by no means nothing more than a basic farm comp. Basically the same thing that happened here.
Again, high lvl royals are OP :cool:.
I'd say G1 - C3 is the spot.
In addition don't bother finishing the mines and collectors - you will soon find that 6M+ gold for each upgrade is a good way to get sleepy builders.
Early 10 probably low-mid Crystal, possibly Gold 1.
Really, just depends on loot availability.
Remember, those juicy 200K/each TH8 barch collector bases are basically non-existent as a 10. Going to have to feed off of TH9's and lower 10's. Gold league in general is a little more littered with 8's so you will probably find more consistent loot and 9's in Crystal with a semi-decent league bonus.
1) your base isn't really made well for defending against barch. Mortars are the best defense against tier 1 troops period, and you have yours near the edge of your base.
2) even if the mortars were closer in, and you had the best defense against barchers ever, he has 20 more troop space, max troops, and nearly maxed heroes. Not much that any th9 can do against that.
3) I think, as long as all your troops are maxed, you should move on to th10 soon. Finish all your Lego walls then go. You're just wasting time if you are waiting to max every little thing.
Max defenses means max traps and walls as well. Lavas instead of Legos or Skulls can make a huge difference in a raid. Anyways, the extra 4 Giants and 8 Hogs can make a HUGE difference in a raid. With 4 Heals, the defense targeting troops can help take out the splash defenses letting the Tier One troops easily overwhelm your point defenses. Your mortars also need to be more centered, leaving them exposed makes you more vulnerable to such attacks. Not saying that lvl 37/40 Heroes aren't overpowered, but that there are things you can do to prevent a 100%.
