I'm about 2-3 weeks into the game, lvl 5 TH, lvl 2 Clan Castle. I posting here with a quick question. I mainly use my Clan Castle as a defensive tool while I'm offline. I was curious as to what your opinion is as to what troop is the best for defending my base? I personally believe it to be archers only because of their range and attack speed. But have no further proof then that. What would you recommend, and can you support your answer with some stats maybe?

Mate, 90% of people will say the best defensive troop is archers. You're exactly right when you say that their range and speed is superior. This is evident when your clan castle is centralised as your archers will attack from behind your walls, thus making it very difficult for the enemy to get through.

No, he means that those buildings (builders huts, barracks, mines and collectors) aren't as important as the others. builders huts and barracks especially because they have no value as either a defensive structure or as holding resources.

So by putting them outside your walls the attacker will have to destroy them first and whilst they are doing that your defenses behind the walls can shoot them and kill them before they start attacking the stuff behind the walls.

Also by taking those buildings out you have more walls available to better protect the buildings that are most important (storages and defensive buildings). You can use these walls to create a more segmented base which means the attackers has to break through a number of walls before he can get to your precious loot!

Hi mate, I just recently attacked a village with dark elixir, and my troops obviously collected some of it. Seeing as I don't have a dark elixir storage myself what happens to the dark elixir I won? Does it just disappear or will I get it back later on when I build a dark elixir storage.

Unfortunately for you and the person you attacked, the DE you "gained" is just lost since you have nowhere to put it. Once you do build a DE storage, it will start with 0. I guess that if you checked the last achievement, it would still have your total DE looted at 0.

Im playing since 3 months and Im having the same question but no one seem to give me a simple answer.

It regards to the spells factory and which of the spells is the best to upgrade to the fullest?

Currently I have the the lighting spell at level 4 and the healing spell at level 2. Should I upgrade the factory first or keep the upgrade of single spells (my spell factory is at level 2).

Most definitely max Lightning. Im sure all here will agree it excels in overall utility. Then do rages if you go against higher bases.

actually that is wrong. the achievement counts DE stolen even if you cannot store it. You wont be able to use any retroactively though.
