I've been th8 for 1 month and my hogs are lvl 1. The question is should i upgrade them to level 4? I never used hogs before and it will take 1 month to upgrade them. Is it worth spending 1 month on them cause i wont have enough time to finish all my lab upgrades at th8. Will i ever use them? I think dragons are enough for th8 and on th9 i will probably use lavaloon or smth...
Yes, hogs, minions, and pekkas should all be maxed before moving to TH9 -- at the very minimum
when your toawnhall 9 or 10 hog riders are great at luring those clan castle troops
since i wont have enough time to upgrade everything and i dont want to wait lab upgrades with 5 builders sleeping, What troops i can skip besides healers and valks, cuz i already know i wont upgrade them?
I agree with this Hogs and Minions for sure, good war and farming troops, Pekkas not so much though. Mine are still level 1 I never use them and can three star tough th9s without themQuote:

No stopping on level 2 or 3 because that wouldn't really help at all for the time you spent.
Personally, I have yet to use hogs, but I guess they could be helpful for base designs without DGBs.
And I've been doing fine so far using quatrolavaloonion.
All in all, it's completely up to you.

Level 4 hog attack at th8 is one of the best war attacks there is for that level...
It's really fun to play at the top of your TH level for a bit.. Enjoy the game!! It's not all about getting moar moar moar (Ok it is a little bit but you know what i mean lol)
Hogs are better than dragons in th8 wars.
