2nd & 3rd animal pens

does anyone know at which level does the 2nd & 3rd animal pens unlock? i have a lvl 33 NH member and was told he only can buy 1 goat pen hence he can't do the goat milk task.

also, what happens if your barn is full when you fish? will you still get the fillet?

There are a number of actions which overrides the limit of the barn, lure fishing is one of them. You will continue to get fillets even if your barn is full.

thanks! i wonder why on this forum do we not have a thread on the leveling up and the items being unlocked whereas we have a guidebook that tells you about the machines and the produce.

and wow, level 37 & 50 respectively for the 2nd & 3rd goat pens. looks like goat milk task is not for the lower levels, i need to tell them.

One goat pen is sufficient, goat milk is always around.

Yes for regular farming........but for the derby task you have to milk your own goats in a certain amount of time :-)

Are you talking about the task for 45 Goat Milk? We had somebody with a single goat pen do it. It depends on where you are in the week, and how often the player's play schedule lets them check the game.

Basic problem is that you need to milk goats 12 times to do that task. I think it's extremely reasonable for somebody to do two goat milkings per day: one before work/school, and again after. That takes six days for the task. It's too late to start for this week's derby. If you start the task on Monday it still uses up most of the week: better hope for a bunch of mining tasks to finish up the week.

If you can check your farm mid-day, and your sleep schedule allows for it, then it's not crazy to do three milkings a day. That would allow completion in four days.

But it still seems like a silly exercise for somebody with just four goats. Our member who did it swore he never would again :-)

thanks for the tip! my NH happened to be one of those that were unable to collect the rewards after the derby ended and SC took almost 2 days to fix it so we didnt think we were up for the task. also, if its going to take 6 days just to do it that means you will only be left with 1 day to do the other 4 tasks. not funny! lol

Tasks that take a long time to complete are not favoured by a number of my cubby mates, nor by me. Personally I don't think it reasonable to force someone to do such an arduous task as gathering 45 goat milk when it's easy enough to tear it down and find something more satisfying. I wouldn't do it and I don't expected my cubby mates to do it. I tear down tasks that take forever to complete as soon as they appear. They are torturous, plain and simple. No fun there.

I did the goat milk as my second task. It was very relaxing, let me stack my townies for next task. However, i have all pens.

Someone said earlier 1 pen is enough. High levels will find it is not, as so many machines use feta cheese, i never have enough goat milk (or cow milk for that matter). The task turned out to be a good way to stock pile goat milk.
