i downloaded the game while i was overseas in Germany and it placed me in the German global chat, and because there is no option to change your region or change it automatically by re downloading it i was wondering whether you would be able to make it so you can select what country/region you are from so it becomes easier to recruit and talk to other people
You are on the english language setting back in the US right? I know this sounds stupid and unlikely, but I'm just making sure. I've never incurred a problem such as this. Just wondering, is the local leader boards set for Germany also? Good luck in your search to fixing your problem, wish I could've helped more!Quote:

I've got the same problem. Downloaded the game and started playing in Germany with my language set to English. The global chat has always been in German. I even tried removing the game and downloading again in England but still had the same problem. A real shame as I'd like to use global chat. Any help would be appreciated.....thanks
My brother has this problem. Downloaded it in Vietnam, global is permanently Vietnamese, and Vietnamese barely talk in global anyways... Re-downloading in other countries does nothing.
I think it's a really good and useful idea. Besides correcting the region if for whatever reason you're in a wrong one, i think it would be cool to be able to chat with players from other regions
Same! I live in switzerland and started playing the game in english, english global chat and all, thats how i started my clan! Then when the local leader boards came out, i was on a german global but with swiss champions...
i'd love to get set back to UK or another english country
same here i have the same prob:language set to english but glibal is arabic :(

For folks on vacations (the most reported circumstance) who install away from home, they will be associated with the vacation location, not home.
Customer support will change your location one time - just use the in-game reporting feature to generate the support e-mail and let them know what happened, and where you should be and they will fix you up.
