Drags To 3 or Pekka to 2

Wondering if I should upgrade drags or pekka next. In war I'm usually against max TH8 with lvl 6 AD and my L2 drags are failing miserably against the bases. Will gowipe work better?

Gowipe is almost guaranteed 2-3 star on th8 when it's maxed at th8, drags can be somewhat...unreliable

I'd say pekka, but it's really based on what you're comfortable attacking with :o

Dragon definitely. If you use GoWiPe, pekkas lv1 are still enough for th8 bases. But still GoWiPe is a 2star strategie. Pekkas are good to kill the core because of their dmg per hit, but they are slow and cannot clean up. Dragons are every bit as good as 2 starring bases as GoWiPe and have more chances of 3 starring the base. It is still difficult to get 3 stars with lv3 Dragons when ADs are max, but it is possible.
If you want troops for 3star max th8 bases go for hogs. if you use them rightly they will wreck any th8 base.
Use Golems+wizards to lure double giant bombs.

Can I go off the board and suggest maxing out your hogs?

Dragloon is the beginner 3 star strat at th8, hogs are the cream though. GoWiPe requires luck to 3 star at any level and becomes near impossible after the first month of TH9 these days due to upgrading walls with elixir now. Get out of the GoWiPe Rut and start using real strategies! :cool:

Agreed with the posters who said GoWiPe is a 2 star strategy. Sure you CAN 3 star a really good TH8 with GoWiPe but hogs tend to work better once you get them to lvl 4.

As an early th8.. MASS DRAG is still a very reliable ATTACK STRAT....

GoWiPe isn't that great at TH8 due to the lack of jump spell and high level golems

Drag can guarantee 3 star on early-mid TH8 if you attack properly, gowipe requires lvl5 wiz, lvl5 WB and lvl3 peeka to work efficiently and effectively. So upgrade drag first and use it while your gowipe grows stronger.

Drags, despite them getting a bad reputation for 1 stars, can really take it when upgraded to level 3.


GoWiPe with Lvl 1 Pekka is okay, its still okay with lvl 1 Pekka.
