New Building Idea

My new building idea is the Mechanic.

The Mechanic is similar to a builder but he/she specializes in repairing traps, specifically while the user is offline. The mechanic could be set to on or off. While turned on the mechanic can repair traps automatically while the user is offline. The traps repaired by the mechanic would be more expensive then normally reparations, and each upgrade of the mechanic would reduce the cost.

This would be VERY effective for trap based villages. I believe that traps are one of the most key parts in defensive battles. If you get attacked multiple times while offline your traps may be down and you are more vulnerable to a loss.

I think this is a great idea. I appreciate the feedback :)

that makes TOO much sence... but what I have noticed about this game is that it's NOT meant to be "fair" it's meant to keep the top players on top and the lower players struggling to get to the top thus forcing them to spend money for gems... let me elaborate, higher town halls are able to attack lower town halls, a level 8 will search and search until he finds a level 7 with enough loot to attack... it would be TOO easy for supercell to change the games search algorithms so that only TH8 can attack TH8.. wheather that TH8 has upgraded its defences to fight off the other TH8 that's a different story... another point (which was addressed by the author of this original thread) traps.. one attacker "trips" the traps and losses, than another attacker comes while your vulnerable and demolishes your clan... like I said not meant to be fair and keeps top players on top...

Not sure I agree with your ideology that top players should be kept on top and lower players should struggle the most, nor that CoC isn't meant to be fair. If that was the case, no one would want to play except players who are already experts.

The point of traps is to make you get online to rearm them for the next attack, not to have some mechanic do it for you....
