Derby ranks not in order

after the maintenance there seemed to be something wrong with the rankings. the 1st is now at the bottom instead of at the top. any idea why? or is it just me? please look at my screenshot, 2nd & 3rd are at the top, the 1st is right at the bottom.

I don't think it's supposed to be first on top.

Your own NH will be on top. The rest seems to be pretty random.

really? i didnt know that. so does that mean if you're ranked pretty low you'll still be at the top?

Yes. My NH was in last place for awhile this week, and we were still on top. The NH in first place was at the bottom.

We always have our horse at the top, with the other cup contenders nearby. Now our cup contenders are scattered.

at least the cups are back so we can see at a glance where we rank

thats what i was trying to say! i feel they're scattered as well and it just feels different from the previous derbies. the NH that came in first is right at the bottom now and each time they chalk up points i keep having to scroll down to look. i never used to have to scroll down this much because those at the bottom are the ones with 0 points. not anymore! maybe they changed something.

My derby has always been scattered. From the first derby i have had to scroll to see the 2nd place horse.

Pretty sure it shows your own NH at the top and then your competitors depending on the distance from you. So if the 1st place is way ahead it's at the bottom. But sometimes it takes a while for the changes to take effect

I have seen counter examples of that.

My guess is that the order is the point ranking from the last time that you looked at it, except that your own neighborhood is on top. I think this is the same as saying that they are ordered before the horses run forward to show you how many points they received since the last time that you checked.

But just guessing.

I think you've nailed it. The order changes after you close the derby and open it again. (I'm checking too often, so didn't notice that before)

I got kicked sadly though I'll check next time I do Derby. Lol :cool:
