On the Chat pop-out, we have 2 tabs - Global and Clan. We need a third tab - let's call it "Smack" - so we can talk smack to each other while battling another clan! So what if it's in different languages - that may be fun. So what if people say bad things - that's what this is for! Now, let's get practicing with our insults, our invectives, our colorful metaphors.

I think the anonymity the chat rooms allow really brings most (I'm hoping) good people down 6-7 notches in their whole moral/ethical human behavior.
I PERSONALLY would like this because I think it would provide an opportunity for clans to have some fun back and fourth, maybe meet some new people, merge clans, steal opposing player (that could be good or bad though). I think in reality, it would be a board full of spam and insults. Again, I can handle these insults, but I would guess their are clans full of children 10 years old (or younger) or clans of 30 year old's up, family members etc that would not appreciate it, or appreciate their kids being exposed to it.
Again, I like it, but I am not naive to think a word filter is going to fix anything.
I do like the idea because we've run across some fun clans we've warred against and we have enjoyed banter with them.
However, I can see a whole slew of "banning" happening due to inappropriate behavior from clan members in this. We already see lots of people who get banned for inappropriate comments in clan description or base 'drawings'. It would be yet another way to win a war due to banning or another way for 12 year olds to test out the shiny new words they just learned.
the ban rate would sky rocket......good grief I can see the taunts now.

In a third war, we had a guy contact a member on this forum via private messages and someone from that clan planned to stop by and chat a bit after war as well.
All cases were friendly and amenable - but I don't think the Clash of Clans average clan is mature enough to stick to the level of respect required to maintain a healthy competitive nature via a chat window without resorting to ban-worthy antics. :)
