I wonder why they've never added the option of a order board total, where you basically can see the total of everything you have and need for all the orders on the board at the time.

The captain help forum will help you achieve Captain 1-3 and Turbo Trucker 1-3. They have great documents and lots of experience!

When I did my tt3 on my own, I made sure I had a lot of the impossible to buy items. Stuff like wheat, milk etc that you can buy in the paper, I didn't worry too much about. I wasn't about making money, more than just getting the achievement.

Have a full truck order screen of easy stuff, trash what is stupid and wait for it to pop up with something good before starting any orders. Make sure you have all of what is on the board.

The sooner you start, the better, so you don't need 15 strawberry ice cream and no means to buy or make it.

And if at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

I'll share my experience here. I took couple of screenshots while doing my TT3 run.

I trashed all the orders until all are easy stuffs.

I spend 2 days to stock with rare stuffs and I had some animal feed (Barn was full). The reason for having some feeds is to stock the items at machine itself that requires crops/animals products. :)

Before I check with the above machines I had my barn full and whenever I get free space, I'll pick feed to max my barn again.

I leveled up while I doing the TT3 run :(. So, do not start TT3 run if you are near to complete your level.

I completed as far as 16 of the 20 delivery. But was unable to find the other things in the paper or in my friends, followers and helpers shop. So I have to go all over again. 😒

Thanks to all the great advice here and in the Captain III thread I just got my TTIII! Took me just under 15 minutes.

I had a couple of wrinkles: My mine was open but I hadn't really started mining seriously and had only one or two of each bar, so I was worried about getting mine orders and I did - got 4 of them, only able to fill one. And I levelled up in the middle and got the darn tutorial I had to get out of in a bit of a panic, and then got two orders for new items I didn't have at all. So ended up with 5 orders that I couldn't fill - more panicking! But just concentrated on the fillable ones and all was good. I was really surprised when the achievement banner popped up - it all went so quickly!

One thing I found extremely helpful was preparing the list of what was in neighbour's stalls - it was a long list of about 35 people who were selling useful goods. When an order popped up that I couldn't fill, I would fill my next order then quickly scan my list and go and buy the missing items quickly before they got sold, just to have that order ready in case I needed it. Ended up using a few of those orders so am not really sure if I could have completed just on my own inventory but I'm pretty sure I could have.

Am very glad I did this sooner rather than later and would recommend it to anyone considering it. Three days of preparation but a very rewarding achievement. So thanks to all and good luck to all!

its all about preparation, it's also nice to have a back up! If you go to Captain-I-III-Achievement-Help they will gladly be your back up to help you make it all the way through. They have documentation there to teach you how to prepare, you can't prepare enough :p
The Captains there are dedicated to help with the Captain I-III achievements, but are more than happy to help out as back up for TT, just give them advance notice as to when you want to run... You will find all the people in there are all amazing and LOVE helping other people :o:o

I 'Accidentally' Completed this achievement last night. I was collecting items from my machines and the game told me that my barn was full. Instead of selling stuff in my stand, I decided that I would do truck orders instead. I kept getting 'checks' for completed orders as I was doing them and thought "Hey...maybe I can do this..." I only had to hurry and buy some wool, bacon and some eggs! Before I knew it, the achievement award came up. Thank Goodness! (I am at level 48).
