Wool

With the arrival of the hat machine, wool has become a premium product. I can't make the stuff fast enough to keep up with production.

Maybe HayDay needs to re-look at the time it takes for sheep to produce the stuff. It was fine before I had to make hats but now I run v low on wool stocks.

Lol. I have a boat coming that's asking for wool. Before hats (BH) I wouldn't have thought twice about it, but now I'm not sure if I am going to fill that boat or not.

It's about choices. Yes, the cloche hat uses 6--that's SIX wool. And it's the only one that doesn't require feathers.

And im guessing that since you're at least level 70, you already know how to manage resources.
I am finding some wool in the paper to supplement my own supply.

Im hoping the ones that have been complaining that there's too much wool in the paper are pleased with this change.
Keep in mind that the majority of players are likely NOT level 70 or higher so there still should be some wool in the paper in case you need it.

I like when there are changes like this. And find it more beneficial to embrace the change and use it to my advantage than to complain and hope SC changes something. Every change has side effects.

I was used to posting wool when I needed help on my boats because no one would buy it a full price. Now since trying to level up my hat machine, I find I am having to hoard it. I scan the DD and buy when ever I see it now.

I'm having the same issues. I've been asking my neighbours to buy any wool they see in their DDs for me. Its helping me out a lot. Try doing this, many eyes make it easier.

I still find plenty of wool in paper.. Hat machine is unlocked at a very high level and not all sheep sheerders have it, so they still sell their wool on dd :)

my list of buy instantly keeps growing

at first it was only Bem and Sem.
Then I hit lvl 22 and Bem Sem Lem.
Then I started needing more milk for dairy so I bought all avaiable Milk and goat milk
Then I started needing more bacon. and Then Eggs!!! I keep running out of eggs and need to go buy another 100 at a time.
and now wool I see wool advertised and I click it before I click the Bem advertisement. and I hope I'm quick enough.

It's amusing what each update puts in demand.

Exactly my thoughts Tiaxo! Whenever i see people complaining about how DD is overrun by eggs, I am like, leave my eggs alone :D

I am still able to find wool in the newspaper although not as easily as before. I am not selling it though.......

I used to sell wool too now I'm a buyer.

Obviously this is tongue in cheek, I like fact things change and you have to adapt.

Maybe things will settle back down when I've mastered the hat machine. 😄
