Switching to this account is not supported below ios version 7

Hi

just sharing how to link coc below ios version 7

my device:
iphone 5 ios 8.1
ipad 1 ios 5.1.1
software:
itools

this is ipad 1 (ios 5.1.1) pop up message after i signed in game center.

this is my old old old ipad 1

after install coc in ipad 1, both ios device connect to the computer and open up itools.
in the apps section, open the coc explorer.

copy both documents and library and use the same way open ipad 1 coc explorer replace the file with ios7 above device... (I copy both files because I not sure which 1 i need to copy to replace....)

before open the coc, game center must signed in. after replaced the files, you should get the message do you want to link your thXX, click ok. Done.

this tactic I only tried with a apple device with ABOVE ios 7 and link it to apple device with BELOW ios 7.... if you do not have a apple device above ios 7, just borrow your friends device and sign in game center and link your account to the device 1st to do the step 1.

Thanks for this publication about solving old device problem.. It work!!.. I got the same problem when I resetting my old ipad1.5.1.1. And can't download my COC game back with Game Center because of lower iOS version.. Thanks and it helps a lot!! Happy to retrieve back my village..😄
To solve this device problem. You must have two idevices.

Well I attempted this every way but Sunday and no luck. Still get the "must upg ios screen". Even reset the ipad. Oh well, thanks for the guide. Guess I am not smart enough to figure it out. Back to my Nook. lol

Thanks so much for putting up this post! The only difference I would add is that you have to use iTools v3.17.6 if your itunes is at 12.1

Also, the version I got was not in English, but it's still workable if you follow SiLv3sTeR's pics. Awesome post, dude.

Very nice mate

kept getting errors copying the 2 files....found a much easier way.

plug in ur ios7 above device..click on apps....check mark the clash of clans app and at the top click backup.

eject when complete and plug in ur older device and at the top click install and install the ipa file that was created wen u backed up the newer device...done.

i used iTools v3.17.6 as mention'd by
RGD380 which was in english.

It is sad that Apple spent millions on so many great operating systems but they sign just 1 of them.. Some old devices need a slim old ios.. Good looking out op

Just adding I can confirm that this doesn't work if your newer iOS device is running iOS 8.3. :(

I do the same with app iMazing on Mac OS X, I copied Clash app and data from iPhone 5 iOS 8.1 to iPad 1 iOS 5.5.1 and all works the same that this solution saids.
