Can't get past 2930 trophies
Currently I'm a TH9 barching to champ, but after every 5 or 6 attacks I lose one and lose all my earned cups.
It's costing my alot of gems so was wondering,
Should I stick around 2700-2800 and farm for higher heroes (BK 10 and AQ 7), or keep trying?
Most loses are around 49% because of my low level heroes
And the reason I don't loon is because I don't have the time (work, sports etc), and find barching easier/faster/cheaper/reliabler
I would say to adopt a farming base for 2 weeks or so to get some upgrades done, then switch back to trophy base for two weeks, so on and so forth. With this strategy, you get upgrades done while not losing tons of trophies.
I hit a wall there as well. But I got fed up with it and dropped XD. Don't do what I do. Keep pushing! You'll get there. And you have already earned my respect for getting there with such low heroes *bows down*
Bro I think just when ever you feel like ur heroes are low stop make a farming base farm until you think YOU! Are ready to start pushing again

You still can Barch to Champions but you have to be very patient when searching. Otherwise, consider surgical loonion as you can find more bases to attack with that comp.
I feel your pain:straightface: I recently barched from 2900-3000 as a th9 with lvl 10 heroes. I found the key is base selection and dropping the heroes while your other troops are still working on the base. Only go for bases with at least 30 buildings out side (always count) and bring giants or a golem in you cc to tank for your heroes. Many times you wont even need lightning spells for %. Gl :)
I would switch to loonion for the last stretch run.
When I'm done doing defenses I plan to make the push and once I hit m2 or so I will switch to loonion.

From my experience leaving your townhall outside your base is a must as a th9. 99% of attacks will take your townhall and move on. You'll only lose like 5 cups. If you keep your townhall centered inside your walls your going to get 2 and 3 starred everytime you go offline. I had a fully maxed th9 and still got destroyed if my townhall was inside my walls. Most players at that trophy level are strong townhall 10s that will have no problem wrecking your base.
I would switch from barch to loonion. It's alot easier to get 50% with loons. Also be very patient when selecting bases. The next button is your friend. There are other th9 and lower bases up there you just have to keep searching.
I used loonion to get me to masters 1 and then I switch to lavaloonion and GoVaPe to get me in to champs.
