Clan [Troop] Bank

1. The member accessing the troops needs to be limited to a positive donation ratio. Do not let anyone who has donated less than they have received take troops from the troop bank. (This will still be abused. Example: Player A donates 100 goblins level 3 and takes 5 dragons level 4.)
2. The member accessing the troops should not be allowed to take higher troops than he has unless he has a war attack remaining. (This will still be abused. Example: Player A has war attacks remaining, and is TH6, but keeps taking dragons from the bank and using them for raids instead of war.)
3. Implementing limits to stop abuse creates essentially, player donating to self. Example: If I can only get a Golem by donating a Golem, then we might as well eliminate the clan castle troops and bump up the camp sizes as I am donating to myself.
4. the more programming that is added to CoC, the slower it runs on my device.

As a leader, I want a switch to turn it off. But either way it will create whining and contentiousness among the clan. "There is never anything good in the troop bank." "Who took all the dragons?" "Who put goblins in the troop bank?" If I turn it off the whining will be' "Why don't you turn it on."

Get rid of home base clan castle troops altogether and increase the camp sizes. No one gets taken advantage of that way.

Love the idea but it will be a target for hoppers

Imagine this, cc's having troops that you put there for donations? Let me explain. Everything goes on as normal, nothing gets too crazy, however, YOU can put troops into training mode in your cc that others can dip into and take what they want. The capacity equals the amount of your current lvl cc that you can store donation troops. Lvl 4 cc mean i can store 25 of my own troops that someone in my clan can take. OR BETTER YET! There is a mini training camp you either build then upgrade that matches the capacity of cc that your clan members can take from. Thoughts?

The Clan [Troop] Bank is a place for a clan to store donation only troops.

The Problem
Currently only online clan members can donate to you. As a result, if you are on late at night, or early in the morning about to raid, you can't get any CC troops because nobody is online! This means you might be in danger of losing an attack or defense!


The Solution
If you REALLY need a troop donation and nobody is online, why not have a way to still get troops? A clan bank! This clan bank can contain troops that were donated to the clan. When you need troops, you can simply open the clan bank and take what you need.


Please note, the clan bank WILL NOT CONTAIN ELIXIR, GOLD, OR DARK ELIXIR


Bank Basics
The Clan [Troop] Bank is unlocked at clan perks level 2. It is a bank to store troops, and only troops. The Bank can be turned on/off. As your clan perks lvl increases so does the amount of troops the bank can hold. Whenever someone donates to the bank a clan message will appear simply saying “_____ has donated x amount of (level)(troop)s.” And likewise when someone removes troops “_____ has withdrawn x amount of (level)(troop)s.”


Clan and Player Requirements
By default, one needs to have the "new" rank go away (A 7 day period).
This option is changeable by clan leadership so that it requires a rank.


Clan Bank Specs
The bank CAN, I repeat CAN get full of troops.
Keep in mind, a leader CAN remove bad troops from the clan bank like goblins. When you donate or take a troop from the clan bank, you troop received or donated amount will go up.


Lv 1 Clan: N/A
Lv 2 Clan: 50 troops
Lv 3 Clan: 100 troops
Lv 4 Clan: 150 troops
Lv 5 Clan: 200 troops
Lv 6 Clan: 250 troops
Lv 7 Clan: 300 troops
Lv 8 Clan: 350 troops
Lv 9 Clan: 400 troops
Lv 10 Clan: 450 troops


TROOPS GO DIRECTLY TO YOUR CLAN CASTLE, NOT YOUR ARMY CAMPS!!!


Anti-Hopper/Leecher Precautions
Anti-Hopper features include the “new” rank going away, and then a possible rank being achieved (This feature would need to be turned on by the leader)
Anti-Leecher features include the need for the leader to set a minimum donation per troop received level, or a given:taken troop ratio.This may sound confusing but let me explain.


Leecher ( let's call him bob)


Bob has to donate 100 troops to the bank to receive 75 troops. Of course, this number can be changed by the leader, but this would just be the default setting. The leader could just simply tap a button to change this to, let's say, 50 donated for 30 troops received.


Clan [War] Bank
For a clan war the same type of concept is used. People donate to a pool of (Maximum of 5 donations per member, unless your clan perk says otherwise) donations, these donations can be taken for ONLY war requests. Any remaining troops will be sent to the clan bank.


Donation Count
One will donate to the bank, but their donation count will not go up. Why you ask? To prevent an influx of 1. X.P. and 2. False donation numbers.
After your troop is received, or someone takes it from the bank, your donation count goes up, and you receive your X.P.
To prevent crazy donation numbers, your donation amount (let's say 30 troops) is split in half to a total of 15 and if you donated an odd number, that decimal is rounded up, e.g. 31 = 15.5, or 16.


Interface

If a Lvl 1 drag is donated, and then another drag any lvl above 1 is donated, a little blue box with a star will appear in the edge of the dragon image. You tap on this star and it will show you all the levels of that troop available to take.


To counter this:





You won't see the troop you just donated to the bank. Ex. No dragons are in the bank, you donate a dragon, however you don't see one, then once someone else donates a dragon, theirs shows up.

Nice idea. This is gonna solve a lot of war problems. Also, great thread layout. Really professional.

This would be perfect for international clans so you don't have to wait because the others are sleeping or working... Excellent idea!!!!

The idea behind it is awesome. I would give the leader the option to decide who can recieve troops from the bank. All players should be limited to maybe 4 or 5 withdrawells per 24 hours. Also as a incentive to get players to upgrade their barracks, they can only withdraw what they donate. A town hall 3 can not get wizards because they can not donate wizards. To be able to withdraw better units they should be able to donate better units. The bank should also be renewable every 48 hours or so. It automatically dumps the units that have been sitting in it for 48 hours. Player withdrawel should be matched as 1:1 in capacity. You donate 2 units of 5 capacity and you can withdraw the same amount in capacity.

If we make this a war only feature than yes. There are so many times that someone asks for war troops, I have made them, then I gtg. I go back half an hour later the request is still there. If they can allow each member to have a storage on their base with troops (Where like a loot cart , the troops are there to pick up for another member) or on the war map a building call "storage barracks" This way that member can pick off the troops that I placed there for them.

It's AWESOME. You'll get around 200 gems a day in COL2.
Try it, it's a lot better than this one. At first you might not like it, cause you got used to this, but after a while, you'll find it a lot better.

Awesome idea

I would be happy with just having a Defend/Sleep option on my CC, then I could get a War troop and set my CC to sleep until I attack in war, and not be worried about losing it if I don't have a shield.
