I think that whenever you go onto a player's profile, the should be a green or red dot next to their name to show whether they are online or offline.

Going to start using this from now on.
Adding an offline indicator would cause Privacy issues. Supercell doesn't want to have these issues.

Now I feel silly in not realizing that would have worked. But I rarely use pics anyway, so the need never came up for me. By the way, you can enhance it even more by giving it key word highlights! Add "?highlight=<word>+<word>+<word>
