I have never rush so I don't get experience with that.

Absolutely not.

I'm a fan of maxing out, and I realize that not everyone is, but you should AT LEAST get mortars to 6, wiz towers to 5, cannons / arch towers to 9, ad to 6, teslas to 5.
Otherwise, you'll be steamrolled by TH10s, and it'll also be hard to get loot because of the loot penalty.
