Am I ready to go to TH9? I'm a strong advocate of rushing and don't believe in wasting a metric ♥♥♥♥ ton of elixir while I wait to max my defenses. I can play around 2 hours each weekday and 4 hours each weekend day. All of my troops are maxed except for valks, hogs, and healers. During my upgrade time I will be able to fill my storages during the upgrade
time.
Read the guide in my sig and make your decision. I'd recommend you to go up to G1-2 and farm there for a while to get used to TH9 farming.
Except walls, everything else is ok. If you rush to TH9, you'll have at least 50-100 skulls next month and having 220 space, maxed drills and lvl 6 dark barracks. If you stay at TH8, you'll have 60-120 skulls farming at the same rate.
Realistically, if you finish skulls in one month at TH8, you'll have 180-250 skulls and TH9 offenses if you rush
You're too rushed. Right now, you would be an easy target for TH10s having that weak defence. As much as you don't want to waste that elixir, you also don't want it to be constantly pillaged by more advanced armies. I would get those cannons to at least level 9 (pretty cheap; only costs 800K), archer towers to 9, and wizard towers to 5. Teslas should be upgraded to at least level 3.
I also think your Barbarian King is too low. I would upgrade him to level 5 so you can get the iron fist ability.
And while you do those, I'd use the elixir to finish off the troop upgrades.
You're barely a th8 defensively right now. You will be way behind at 9. TH 9 has a ton of upgrades and it will be frustrating for you to try to catch up. Why bother, th8 is great for loot. Spend another month or so there and get your defenses up.
Your BK should be 10 when you go, otherwise your heroes will be way way behind. Getting enough DE to level 2 heroes is tough, especially in the beginning when your troops are still th8 level. Level 6 troops take 10 days and 6m elixir, so it will be awhile for you to be making the loot you were at th8. Trust me it's a big drop at first.
Yeah, hero upgrades are going to take FOREVER with that kind of defence. You are going to be #1 target for DE seeing as TH10s can wipe that camp very easily. You are going to have to hope that most people will target your town hall, otherwise it'll take months to upgrade heroes unless you are constantly pillaging back.

Imho, i think you are not ready...i am maxer, but i decided for a kind of rush. You should max splash defence, teslas and off course bk. I completed skulls as well...i dont know how high can you go, but you should have at least 100, that is minimum.Quote:

Thanks for the input everyone, I'm now planning to max wiz towers, at least lvl 4 Teslas, and upgrade my cannons and archer towers another level. During that time I'll do as many skulls as I can, then I'll upgrade to TH9. Oh and yeah, I'll max my king too.
I still think you have to upgrade your defences.
You are not gonna survive th 9 if you don't upgrade them.
I can easily surivive TH9 without upgrading defenses. There are several ways, I just dont have the time for it rushing that fast.Quote:
