Farm freezing, slowing down and acting strange.

Please tell me if there's another thread like this, I haven't had chance to check.

Ever since the update my farm hasn't been working right at all, and I've never had any problems whatsoever for the 2 or so years I've been playing.
My farm has been slowing down and freezing a lot, it's not running smoothly and its jumping all the time. When I'm on chat, once I've tapped 'send' I get kicked out of Hay Day. My friends tab freezes my entire game, and now when my townies are waiting for the train they wait all around my town rather than on the platform �� I love my farm but its getting impossible to play.

It's not as bad as you think

They changed it and all the townies wander all over the town for everyone

The friends bar sticks for most folks. It didn't stick for my kid until I updated the iOS.

The other things, might be your device. Usually they suggest a hard shut down and if that doesn't help, they suggest deleting and reinstalling hayday. If you've done all that, then I'd suggest turning in a ticket through the game.
Let them know what device you are on and what operating system you are on.

Mine locks up almost every time I acess the social button on the bottom right. Lasts fo 15-30 seconds, sometimes longer. Locks up randomly at other times. Some of the people I've traded with recently report having similar problems.

Ahh thanks Tig I didn't realise they changed the townie thing 😊 the friends bar thing is really annoying, but I guess it must be a common problem. Hmmmm I might try deleting and re-installing HD that usually works with most things 😊 if not I'll turn a ticket in. Thanks for the advice Tig.

Yeah I guess a lot of people are having problems 😓 it all started from the last big update.

The sticky friends tab is extremely annoying. I am also finding the game freezes when I try to open a farm to buy something from the DD. Lost a lot of good stuff lately because of that.

I'm just getting kicked out of my farm now. Every time i try open it, it stays open for about 30 seconds then I get kicked out 😞😞 also when Im on chat I get kicked out 😞😞😞

Yeah I agree with you there Glademaid, sticky friends tab is very frustrating. Hate not being able to help my friends.

You're welcome. I tell you , the friends bar thingy makes it really hard to help people and find my friends to trade with. Wish they'd fix that soon.

I am finding the friends/help bar freezes but only when I first open the game and usually just for a minute or so and then it is fine again. Must be getting used to it😱

Before trying any of the below please backup your iPad (I am assuming these issues are IOS related)!

goto Settings > General > Reset

select "Reset All Settings"

I have been told this will only wipe your settings, apps should be intact. After this I am assuming you will need to re-enter Apple id, game centre id and wifi password. This method has been Successfully used by two players in our neighbourhood and they are now very happy. I personally don't have this issue so I'm only trying to pass this information on. Good luck and let me know if the instructions are incorrect or if you have any success!
