Seeking advices from advanced warring rushers (TH9)

Hello everybody. Please, respect this thread, this is not about what is better between maxing & rushing ! We all have our way of playing the game.

I've been TH9 for a little more than a month now, coming from a low/mid TH7 so I could dump Gold/Elixir into walls & start early on my heroes. For information, I've started in January and have 405m G, 350m EE & 500k HH.
I do farm a lot (although that's like nothing compared to what some people can farm, but I have a work/wife/kids).

Although I've never been in war with my clan because of my troops, I'll be able to war with LavaLoon in less than 2 weeks, and my next research will be lvl 2 Lava which I'll have in less than 3 weeks (DB upgrading...).
Seeing how low my defenses are, I know I'll be close to the bottom in the war map as our lowest members are mid-TH8 defensive wise and I've only built 1 X-Bow (other defenses are really low).
But, being able to Quatra/Penta LavaLoon, I'll be able to choose 2 TH9 bases on which I have the highest chances to 3 stars (note that I didn't say that I WILL 3 stars them, but some bases are better for LavaLoon and I know this attack takes practice to master).
Even if there's no TH9 bases on which I estimate I could 3 stars, I can still hit the highest TH8 and have a guaranteed 3 stars.
Forget about the "your TH8 clan mates should 3 stars them", because most them never get 3 stars on even one of their attack... Let's not speak about our TH10s who often hit their TH10s with 0 or 1 star almost every time, and then aren't being able to 3 stars TH9s (the ONLY attack they do are GoWiPe, whatever the layout of the base is, and they fail often...).

As I said, I'm rushed from low/mid TH7, most of my warring troops are (very) low level.
I'll have lvl 6 balloon in 6 days, lvl 2 lava in less than 3 weeks. BK is lvl 6, AQ 12 in a few days. Rage 5, heal 1, jump 1.

My question for the advanced rushers who war a lot, which troops should I prioritize for wars ?
I've read/watched a lot about all the attack strategies which are available at TH9 (GoHo, HoLo, GoWiWi, etc....), but which attack should I work on after LavaLoon ?

If u have built one xbow ur base will shoot up above any th8, however maxed it is.
For war i m not th9 yet.

I'd work on gowiwi. There are very few th9's out there, that you won't be able to get at least 2 stars with lvl 2 witches, and lvl 3+ golems.

Loonion, lavaloon & lavaloonion can take any th9-

I would build 2x lv1 xbows if I were you & lv1-4 of each defense.

Lavaloonian is a lot harder than it looks. People think it's an easy 2/3 star and it's not. On a low th9, yeah it's easy, but mid th9 and higher, it requires skill and planning, along with some luck.

I don't know yet, but I have a friend who is TH9 with 2 xbows and almost maxed TH8 defenses. He already had a maxed TH8 as a mirror opponent. My defenses are so low I don't think 1 x-bow would put me above any TH8, but I'll see 2 weeks :).

I have a few other buildings to finish first, then my priority will be AD/WT/Teslas. While those are upgrading, this will allow me to have time to practice LavaLoon and to upgrade other troops. Then I think I'll start x-bow and finish mortar/canons/AT.

I know about this. My friend started doing Penta LavaLoon in the last 3 wars. Being a low TH9, he can easily 3 stars his mirror opponent if the base is good for Penta LavaLoon. We're working together on planning the attacks on mid-high TH9 for the next wars, but he can attack those only if every TH8 are already 3 starred.

on my rusher, before I went to TH9 I made sure to have:
L3 PEKKA, L5 wiz, L3 Dragon, L5 Loons, L4 Mins and Hogs. (Gols still L1, as are my recently unlocked Witches) and ~100 skull walls.~ if you do not currently have troops these levels then get going on them first.

These upgrades put you in the best spot to win right away in TH9, since there are a lot of upgrades and they cost a lot of Elixir! plus you cannot cancel a lab upgrade once it has been started, so planning is crucial. that said;

I went the route of maxing Hogs first, as they are a viable 3 star for practically any TH8 you'll face, and 2-3 star on many rushed-to-mid 9s. My 2nd War upgrade is/was loons which will finish this weeknd, this gives me 2 viable 2-3 star stratiges right away. Hounds will be available in 9-12 days depending on how much farming I get done in the next cpl days so Ill have L1 Hounds soon too to add fire to my Loonian strats. (then Ill take a break and do two farming troops Giants and Archers, before I finish up with Hounds and Witches, then Ill start in on the Gols)

As far as Defense turrets... Put in time on those long to build turrets like Teslas and A/Defs, if you haven't maxed splash get a builder on those too. however, point defenses gain more weight in the War battlefield at TH9 more that previous THs IME...taking out Gols and Royals, so they cant be neglected much either.. I am doing one to max approach and then catching up the rest instead of doing the "catch stuff up to TH8 levels" route. This is so I can have a maxed turret in each type (WT, AT, Cannon etc..) to provide maximum defense DPS while the other stuff slowly upgrades..

I did my X-Bows already, but it honestly was for my farming layout. (to be fair, I maxed my offense first, CC Camps Lab SF etc before I touched them) I did shoot up the war ranking a few numbers, but Ill build some more walls and max a few other turrets while my X-Bows max over the next month or so. my base is still quite weak (by choice; L1 X-bows non too special) but my offense is very viable now and I can crush any TH8, and 2 star most of the 9s I come across several numbers higher ranked than my own base.

So as a mid Th9 now, in a every day warring clan, I've found the most success with a combo of hogs, golems, loons. I actually haven't tech'd up to lava golems yet but I can't wait for them. I'm sure you've done some research as to what you should be attacking with depending on base layouts. IE: low AD structures, lavaloon, High walls, Hogs etc. However I've found a fairly efficient strategy that has almost always guaranteed me 3 stars on th9's

Its basically a HoGo, I build one lvl3 golem myself, request one with CC, get about 28 hogs and the rest wiz/archer for % dmg clean up with 4 heal spells for my hogs. I spawn the 2 golems wide enough to try and get them in aggro range of as many defenses as possible. That way I can save my heal spells till my hogs are halfway through the base where people hide their big bombs. *Note, be aware of those bases with double big bomb slots in them, THEY WILL RUIN YOU!* If you can bust in to kill the AQ, do so, she will wreck your hogs.

Anyways, I recommend leveling hogs, golems, and witches (cause they're great for contributing to clan with you being able to max them at th9). These recommendations are considering you've already maxxed balloons and leveled your lavahounds :)

I agree on this and am using it. Anyway, I spawn golem towards the queen with my heroes.

-(I use wiz archers for clearing cc, basically 20 archers, 3 wiz).
When too many compartments, i go with Hog - (1 golem with heroes for enemy queen).
When point def is far away from air def, i go with Holo.
When the wall is weak and less compartment, i go with Gowipe.

If i have the choice again, i would upgrade hog followed by golem, both are very versatile, hog 5 can absorb damage longer to lure cc troops, golem 4 helps a lot in assisting heroes to take down high level queen.

Based on your relatively rushed heroes and spells (esp. lvl 1 heal), lavaloonion is gonna be your main attack for a long time, but it is a good one that will allow you to 3 star quite a few TH9s even with weak heroes.

Next up would probably be hogs but since your heal is level 1 it will take some time to get online. Get hogs and heal to level 5, take a golem in cc and you can have an alternative to lavaloonion that is good vs other type of bases.

I advise against heading to gowiwi straightaway because you need lots of upgrades for it to work well (you need upgraded jump and heal, 3 levels of golem upgrades and 1 for witch, and probably higher level heroes for it to 3 star). Even with everything upgraded it does not three star as reliably as a good golem-hog attack.
