to stop clan hoppers, CLOSE YOUR CLAN!!!!!!!!!
Or you can use the forums. Global recruiting is like going to a kitty pool and trying to find that one mature guy there.
I don't even encounter hoppers anymore. You should learn to recruit better
The easiest way to stop clan hopper would be to just have like a list of clans that person has joined that season. Won't help the first few clans, but it will help the rest.

Having a gold penalty for joining a clan is stupid because some of us higher levels need to wander to find a home.
Yeah like the guy above, I need to wander a bit to find a good clan. It shouldn't penalize us. Can hopping isnt even that big of a problem, why do people complain so much?
Make your clan invite only to reduce hoppers.
Unfortunately, there isn't any good recruitment method in the game, I suggested a clanless search to improve recruitment.
