New Channel - Fuzed From Exile - Hit Me Up!

It seems that everyone has a YouTube channel these days… Well, count me in!

I started this channel for a few reasons:

• To advertise my clan, and hopefully get some good recruits (I figure the best attackers watch attacks on YouTube).
• To Motivate my clan to rock in war… Since our best attacks now get published to YouTube.
• To free up hard drive space… I am an attack video hoarder! Time to publish them, so I can delete them from my devices!
• Because I can… That's my favorite reason! Ha ha!

In this episode, I focus on lavaloonion. Commentary is starting to feel more natural, and flows better throughout.

As a result of clanmate feedback, I switched out from bright green/yellow side bars, to blue/purple.

Episode 4 is FINALLY ready to share, and it's all about Gowiwi, Gowipe, and Gowiwipe.

This one has been quite challenging, to say the least!

It all started when I decided that this episode HAD to include animation. The first trick was learning how to animate (♥♥♥♥)... I used Adobe After Effects for this.

This is all new to me, and I've taught myself how to do everything so far with only the help of Google.

Of course, working on some of my days off, and then getting sick certainly didn't help. I figured out how to do what I wanted to do, and I did it... But the render was over 47 GB!!! I still needed another pass through iMovie... But I was now completely out of drive space, inhibiting me from importing a file so large back into iMovie.

My next plan was to go back to the original iMovie project, and export only the TWO scenes that were missing their animations. However, in my sickly stupor, I apparently deleted the project!!! I was stuck... Realizing that the project file was gone was a bit like getting kicked in the teeth!

After some hard thinking and internal deliberation, I took my video file that I originally exported from iMovie and into After Effects, chopped it up, put it back into iMovie again, and exported just those two scenes. I put it all together, but even though it was in perfect sync, the audio was messed up at the 'seams'... Next I took the video file that I had, and exported it as audio-only. With that, I was able to lay that track over the video, fixing the audio. I then was able to add sound to one of those scenes (it still needed it for the animation)..,

I managed to come up with a final product, but after so many times exporting it back and forth, there is a noticeable change in video quality in those two scenes. I think that's livable, rather than starting over from scratch in iMovie. Long story short, I've definitely learned some things not to do, and some things that I definitely should do!

This has been quite a learning experience for me! Overall, it will make me better. Just living through it all, and being able to look at it and see the flaws, and make mental notes for corrections in the process for future videos makes me feel like there is measurable improvement with each one I make.

The troop composition transformation animations are actually something I envisioned for episode three. I was just starting to get my editing feet wet at the moment though, and I'd never animated before, so I went without them for the time being.

This episode was actually my first-ever animation project.

Man, I'm such a dork! Haha!!! It's fun though.
