Dark elixir troop: The devil

The devil is a new flying dark elixir troop/ Rather than firing an attack per second like most troops, the devil calls upon fire to rise from the ground and surround the building he is attacking, damaging it constantly until either he or the building dies. Due to a total lack of artistic creativity I can not show what he would look like as he levels up, or even to begin, but that could be added if the idea gets good reviews. This is my first CoC troop idea so any ideas to make it better would be appreciated. His stats would be as followed:

I kinda like the idea; it reminds me of the inferno tower as a troop. Also my first post in the section so I'm not sure if it would be OP or not but seems cool. Would love to see someone do some art for this!

I also like the idea, but 50 minutes for a single troop?

Idea's pretty cool, but as said above, 50 minutes for a 15 space troop (that frankly could be replaced by wizzies/minions in most situations) is way too much. Also, is this supposed to be a ground troop or an air troop? Don't believe you specified.

I lowered the space the unit takes and specified that it is a flying troop. However, 50 minutes is only 5 more minutes then a lava hound, and this has more health and DPS.

Idk if comparing it to a lava hound's the best idea, this seems more like a modified dragon. The thing that makes the lava hound as good as it does is that they fly right on top of air defenses, meaning they'll soak them up for a while, and after they die (for a good raider, there should be loons on top of the AD at this point), pups pop out to get some solid dps right in the middle of the base.

This troop wouldn't be able to do that, or even tank tbh. Due to the range it would be behind the loons, and even the minions, meaning it really wouldn't be able to do any tanking. It'd essentially be a weaker dragon. This could be used as a sort of minion tank if you took out the ranged aspect, but currently I don't really see it functioning well.

OK so I admit I have no idea what I was thinking. That DPS was really weak compared to a dragon. I ramped it up, but its still a bit weaker than a dragon. The health however is much higher than a dragon, so that should compensate. I can't, however, deal with the range of it. If you made it so the devil was right on top of the building he was burning, then he would be on fire himself. Besides, this is the way to make the unit not perfect all around. If I was to make a really strong, really high health unit that was closer to defenses than other units it would be a bit to OP to add in.
