I have a fully maxed th8 base. Is there ANY base design that is able to keep folks at th8/9 from 2 staring my base? I get flattened more times than not and could use some base design help as I've tried several different setups of my own and from YouTube.
Thanks so much for any ideas/pictures of bases that actually keep folks from ruining my base.
Honestly, I consider a 2 star defense a win. As long as you can three star your bases, then you have covered yourself.
Therein lies the problem. I'm matched up against a fellow maxed th8 in this war. Everyone else is th9+ and have really good defenses.Quote:

What troops combo are you using? A TH 8 should be able to 3 star another TH 8 and at least get 2 stars on a TH 9.
2 stars is definitely a win at th8.
TH8 best attacks are
Dragon:10dra, 5 max loons-cc,2rage,1heal,1bk
Gowipe: 2golly,12 wiz,2 pekka, 1 max pekka in CC or 2 max withces if you want to GOWIWIPE (imho gowipe is stronger)
Hogowi/hogowiwi- 2golem,25hog,5 wiz (6 max wiz in CC for 11 wiz) or 1golem,25hog,10 wiz, 2 witch in CC
Take 2heal 1 rage as well, you need to land the first heal on the golem and where hogs go in imho.
These are the 3 strongest attacks for th8 imho.. and honestly its fun, and im loving th8 (I have a th9 account too so im not worried about rushing).
TH9 can three star any th8 base with level 6 giants and high level archer queen.
I agree, although I'm not a fan of dragon attacks against max ad that are centralized. Gowipe is also only effective on certain bases. It's almost always a guaranteed 2 star, but that last star can be tricky on certain bases.Quote:
