I have found it very hard to save large amount of dark elixir at one time as players attacking my base just drop lightning spells on my dark elixir storage and boom i just lost 2000 dark elixir before th 7s got a dark elixir drill I understood this as it was hard for them to get dark elixir, but now that they have a dark elixir drill there is no need for them to use lightning spells on dark elixir storages so my suggestion is to make lightning spells ineffective on dark elixir storages.
Then what's the point of lightning spells...also, you can do the same to others. Go ahead and blast their storages to get loot! No one's stopping you.
actually, it is not the point of lightning spells. They are unlocked two THs before DE storages. And I agree, just plow their base.Quote:

There are no plans to change this right now.
It's annoying, but all in all not a very profitable or efficient strategy.
