Try not to copy a base that a youtuber shows you a 3 star attack on.
The best war base is one you make on your own not copy (here or anywhere else on the internet).
There are tons of examples of good bases you can learn from to get you started, or you adapt/modify existing bases and put your own spin on them.
Do not use bases such as the Turtle/General/Giza/Ringus, etc. Those bases are so commonly overused that pretty much everyone knows how to completely obliterate them (not to mention various guides/videos all over youtube and the forums on how to 3 them).
I see at least one of those about every other war match and it's always a guaranteed 3 for our 9's when we see any of them.
Gowipe/Wiwi is a safe 2 star on pretty much any 9 so you won't be protecting against that regardless of your base. High walls/compartments will slow down ground assaults, sure...but there's always ways around it (i.e. jump).
The key to any good successful TH9 war design is protecting against the 3. The 2 star is inevitable by any semi competent attacker with TH9 troops.
How can you protect against the 3? Well placed/hard to trigger double bombs for hogs with multiple possible locations. A centralized queen with proper Ad coverage for lavaloon (xbows always up, air mines always by an AD). High lvl walls/compartments to slow down Wipe/Wiwi/ground assaults, a funnel mechanic to make golems shop....etc.
These are just some basic fundamentals.
