Putting it in that perspective, and the fact that not all the flags will be used very much at all, it is easy to see why Supercell can be discouraged in just adding all the flags, assuming a good user interface was made to manage them.
You know what... Some phones can take the space. So why not have Supercell offer detailed graphics packs, or even flag packs, for people to use? It would be like an ad on that players can download, either in-game, or via the iTunes/Google Play store.
