Country Flag removal

Why remove the country flags? ( Not fully; keep reading)

The current country flags has resulted in many users coming to the forum unhappy they don't have their flag. And the fact to the matter is; there isn't enough room to add almost 200 flags. I did a survey and 70% of people said they don't really care for them. And the other percentages is those who use them to fill the base for spawn points or as a bank. So rather than add all flags; we could simply remove them or do the alternative options below:

Alternatives

1. Allowing users to place one on the townhall for their country. (would be like a badge/sheild.)
2. Having 1 flag that you can choose what country for it to represent. It could be purchased for 500k and only be purchased once.

All flags be replaced with new ones and option 1 or 2 added.

What happens to all my money I spent on them?
The flags could be sold at full price for a limited time (a special event.) or the current flags could be replaced with more origional flags that are none country related.

Maybe split the difference, and have 2-4 'National Flags' that can have thier looks changed on the fly, and then have these other flag ideas? That way people can get the single to several key National flags they want without looking like some United Nations flag park.

Can convert 2-4 of the national flags, and then repurpose the slots of the others for those speical flags. Have it where there is a week or two long event where flag selling is the same as flag buying to help easy people's miffed feelings of lossing the UN flag park look.

99% of the users would rather have original flags than a country flag that represents one place.

why? i actually love the idea of wizard Level7 + wizard tower Level9 and the model u suggested for it thats why i put it there otherwise i wouldn't.

I would much rather have my country flag then any other generic flag.
