Upgrade To TH9?

I'm wondering if I should upgrade to TH9 before maxing everything. I'm an active farmer that plays 3+ hours a weekday and 10+ on a weekend. My plan is to max out my splash defense and air defense, max barracks and dark barracks, and finish some lab upgrades.

Gobins just finished. Plan: upgrade wiz, loons, wallbreakers, pekka to 2, then while upgrading TH get minions to 3. Tell me what you think of my plan and if I should follow it or upgrade sooner or later. At TH9 I will upgrade everything before moving on to TH10.

Seems like you know what you're doing and is active enough to accomplish rushing. You're also already farming at a th9 league, are most of your targets other th8? Its good time you moved up as I notice you're wasting precious elixir

Yeah, most of my bases I attack are abandoned TH8 collector bases. Also, do you think I should upgrade minions or pekka before I upgrade my Town Hall?

That's good, then you would not notice a drop in loot. Minions if u want to, but no to pekkas, they're almost useless

If your clan often wars, I suggest upgrading dragons.

Dragons are bad. I wish I could get my elixir back. Dont waste time on them or pekkas, go to th9 and use lavaloon for war.

Do you think I should upgrade To Th9 sooner? I don't want to be wasting elixir or be missing out on the extra DE and offense capabilities TH9 offers. Do you think I will be ready with only lvl 1/2 minions? My loons and rage/minions can upgrade while the TH is.

Spend a little more time. Upgrade all your offensive structures. Get your minions to 3 or 4. Hogs to at least 2. Don't worry about other Dark Troops. Defensively, at least get your splash maxed. I maxed all except walls and a couple dark troops going into TH9. 4 days left of my upgrade. Good luck and happy clashing!

I upgraded with lvl 1 minions. You can check my thread in my sig to see if you should rush or no. Honestly, minions are not very necessary with quad/penta lavaloon

Are lvl 3 or 4 minions necessary for regular balloonion though if I ever want to try that for regular farming or before I unlock hounds? BTW what troops upgrades should I do once I reach TH9?
