This was a planned war. Both clans agreed on Victory Matters bringing extra TH10s, offset with two TH8s. The search took about 25 minutes.

Yea, it only seemed fair to give them 10s because our TH9 heroes are so much higher than theirs on average. I hope we got it as even as possible, although I'm kind of bummed they had to bring TH8s. We were worried about not matching up due to the weight difference.Quote:

Looking forward to hearing updates on the VM-EE war. Know the leadership of both clans and have nothing but good things to say. We've set up arranged wars with both and it's been great.
Both clans are fearless setting up wars and clash the right way, fun, clean and friendly.
If VM has solved their problems at th9, and I've heard they have, this might be a close war.
Both clans have some excellent th10s. EE's got to be the favourite but if VM can clear th9, it'll be a barn burner. I'll throw out 82-80 as a final score.

VM bases are very weak to Shattered LaLoon, EE's bread and butter.
If you think you will win wars with ur generic 5 golems army, which hits barely for a 2 star on th10s, and dipping on th9s you're seriously wrong, now either take a fair beating and learn something from it even in terms of composition brought to war, and through style of attacks. If you look ar the log you can see that many of the two stars are corrected by almost the same strat modifying the mistakes. I got both my ATTACKS in withing the first couple hours as well.

its ok what you are saying to us is exactly what we said to reddit troopers when we warred them last November. Their ATTACKS were flawless and i even thought they fluffed but then i began learning their strats and the mechanics of the game and I see the three a lot more now.

Well done EE your th 9s are amazing and most likely won you the war, def need some work on the lay outs. So it wasnt a complete bloodbath/beat down or whatever any one else than us expected after all, nice to see..

Very tough war for EE... well done VM. You guys have some really tough bases. Here's a recap by the numbers....
EE: 13 TH10s | VM 15 TH10s
EE: 4 max D tens | VM: 10 max D tens (2 tripled)
EE: 5 TH10 triples | VM: 1 TH10 triple (on a 522)
EE: TH9s cleared 15/15 TH9s (24 attacks) | VM TH9s cleared 7/17 (tens dipped for the remainder)
3 EE CCs scouted. No traps tested. All had hounds in the CC. (@14, 14 and 20 hours in).
Trading 2 max tens for 2 TH8s and the serious TH10 base weight mismatch (1200) made it a very close match. Thanks for the tough handicap EE captains!

Well we had 10 less th9 raids to clear th9 (due to two th8, one spy who didnt raid and the setup w two extra th10s), th10s did a good job on getting cleaned up the targetted two stars so why not use those extra on th9. To be honest your top th10 were easy compared to how much work u clearly put into your th9s. You keep mentioning one failure from our th10 on th9 but yet u used one raid each in your top 7 plus a th9 to get a two star on our #9. Not exactly what ur used to either now is it. Ppl fail and others back up. This war your th9s did well, ours only cleaned house on 9/17 of your th9s so we sorted that out w 10s.
I think the war was exactly as close as it seems, we had a small chance for a tie if a few raids had gone our way but unfortunately Polu had to use his main to take down a clean up for a 97% etc. And if u guys had done better on #9 maybe you could have had a shot at another 3.
But a landslide victory and mismatch, i dont buy it sorry. JP and Jaktups work along w your th9s not failing much (on easy bases as you pointed out) were the difference.
The match was setup to be fair in terms of VM's skill set and make it a fair and competitive war. VM understood from the onset that its strength lied it TH10s and that its TH9s would not be able to clear all of our TH9s. This meant that their TH10s would have to clear most of our TH9s in order to have a chance at winning.
Moreover, we have more TH10s that capable of 3-starring which was an advantage for EE.
EE and VM understood this from the onset, so we arranged a matchup in which we would give them more TH10s and heavier TH10s. This would ensure that their highly-skilled TH10s could 2-star our 10s, 3 all of our TH9s, and go for 3 on low TH10s.
EE had the clear advantage of having TH9s that can clear all 9s and more TH10 3 starrers. So in order to make the matchup fair and competitive we allowed for much heavier 10s and more of them. In order to balance weights they brought two TH8s -- this was a no-op for EE, we would have tripled 9s or 8s.
The matchup was completely fair from the POV of balancing an admitted skill mismatch @ TH9 in order to put VM in a position to play to its strengths at TH10. This is exactly what EE wanted in order to have a fun and competitive war.
How is this even a logical statement? TH10s were easy? Easy to what, 2 star? Nearly every TH10 is easy to 2 star, esp when you're rolling max heroes. They were hard to 3 star, which is why you only got one on the whole board, and a preemie at that.Quote:
