Where to begin... Let's start with the reason this is necro'd, because people obviously are tired of not having this feature.
Your second point has absolutely no context or explanation and as for your third, I don't think there's really anything to be said. What ever point you were countering doesn't appear to make sense so I'll just skip over that.

And finally, your forth and only point with any trace of validity. The idea allows people to view the previous clans as well (clantag or simple search if you can't view it from the button, really quite simple) so they can clearly tell if they were moving between a main and feeder clan. Additionally, it doesn't mean that the clans would just reject people, they can accept them and ask about your questionable clan history. War stars and the other available stats are NOT enough to determine if someone requesting to join is going to stay in for longer than an hour or not leave in the middle of war without attacking. I can confirm this from firsthand experience

Overall, the feature is made to discourage those that take acceptance into a clan for granted and make it easier for leaders to run and grow their clan. Stopping war spying is just an added bonus.
