While you don't get trophies for a loss, you do get the loot. Or do you want that changed too? XD

haha right u get the loot, u get the loot in clan wars too even if you loose, but point is why xp when you lost war. your are not making a good point here. if you stop getting xp when you lost a war. you will rearrange your clan and try to win wars. The point behind xp points is to make a successful clan that will progress well and level up, its pointless when you still level up even after loosing war.

There is already a big war loot penalty for losing a war and now you want to add another penalty on top of that no thank you. So you get to clan perk 3 faster than the other guy big deal we will all get there eventually. System is fine as it is.

With matchmaking what it is, and some of the things that go on in wars, your no, or negative xp for lost wars is ridiculous.
I am in a very average (below if im being honest) clan when it comes to war. But still got matched against a clan last time out that had no-hope whatsoever unless over a third of their players were 1-hit perfect 3* th10 superstars.
Should they have been punished by losing xp for something that had virtually no hope of winning?
The system appears to be doing well in encouraging clans to fight to the finish in order to maximise experience. My clan has won all of its wars since the update and I have no problem with our opponents getting points. They have deserved them.
I think what the OP is saying:
"It's not enough that I succeed, others should fail"
I had to check to be sure:smirk: but from what I can see you get XP for:
1. Destroying bases
2. Getting 40-60% of all stars
3. Winning the war
Where do you get XP from losing the war ??
If you meet the above objectives you deserve the XP for your achivement. This shouldn't be influenced by whether you win or lose the war.
More on that, if getting thrashed in a war pre-perks, most would give up.
60,70,80-a handful of stars scores were common.
Now, theres still something worth fighting for. Which in itself is a good thing for sportsmanship, but think about the plus for SC too.
More expensive war troops, more donations, MORE BOOSTS MORE GEMS.
Said it many times before. We get an awful lot of nice tweaks and features over time, but they have to benefit both players AND the gem spend.
Thats why theyre geniuses.
