Interaction Points - An Awesome Hero Update!
Was thinking about a way to increase interaction between heroes (game-related) without destroying the current game mechanics and I thought, hey...why not give heroes another awesome update?
How this works:
For every hero in the village, there will be an "Interaction" meter, which can be seen after you click on the Hero's info.
This interaction meter will increase by certain points each time your hero and an enemy hero engage in battle (doesn't matter who wins).
Where is this used?
-Interaction points of heroes can be contributed to the total Clan xp.
- Interaction points can be used to decrease or increase your hero's "!" radius. So your hero will be alerted later or earlier depending on how much you set it to.
- IP's can not be exploited in the sense that, there is a limit to the maximum IP's somebody can earn in a day (see last point).
- IP's can be used to decrease building costs by a MAXIMUM of 5%. The extra 5% will have to be paid later in order to make the created building available for use.
In case of resource producing buildings, resources produced will be available for looting, but not for collecting unless the loaned amount is paid back.
- IP's are non-tradeable, time-limited (reset after 24 hours) and non-gemmable.
Hero levels 1-10 give 1 IP for each battle engaged in.
It further increases by 1 IP for every 10 levels, the maximum being 4 IP for the 40th level.
What's the point of Interaction Points?
Using heroes is encouraged as they give you the aforementioned perks.
Also, higher hero levels mean better perks.
It also helps increase the total clan XP since 1 IP = 1 clan XP.
There is a limit to how many IP you can earn in a day!
Maximum 10 for levels 1-10.
Then it increases by 10 per 10 levels.
So a level 40 hero can earn 40 IPs every day.
Why is this not stupid?
Just like in real life, I've imagined that heroes learn something after each battle with another hero.
As this cannot be translated into AI, we can translate it into IPs, which are much easier to implement and much simpler to code.
Lemme know what you guys think!
