So I have that amount saved up, but a lab upgrade is going for the pekka to lv2. (Got about 5-6 days)
should I spend that amount once it finishes on lv4 minions, or lv3 hog riders, or save it up for lv2 golems or valkryies? The bk is lv10, so don't mention it.
If you say golem or valkryie, then any tips for getting that amount? Farming range, army comp, etc. elixir is expendable to me. Only 1 elixir upgrade left, and that's after the next pekka level.
If your priority is war then upgrade the golem. If farming is your priority upgrade minions. I'd skip hogs for the moment.
Saving (and keeping) 70k DE can be tough at TH8. I would farm in in the G2-C3 range. You won't be able to protect your DE storage so try to farm in long sessions and then utilise the shield. I used barch/BAM to get golems at TH8, though I was fortunate enough to have 1-gem boost (it was around Christmas time). Gemming your spell factory will speed up the process a lot...it's not hard to get into TH9 storages if you use rage/heal spells with barch. Aim for at least 1k DE per raid.

I think hogs. Lvl 3 isn't that good, but you can steamrolled any th8 with lvl 4. Golem at lvl 8 are for gowipe. Please don't gowipe at th8. Why you want a 2 star attack when you have hogs or dragon that can 3 star.
Ok, so it now looks like do minions first, then get the hogs going, or if I have enough by the time the lv2 pekka upgrade finishes, then golem.
Golem 2 would be my choice. With new perk and opting update, we war constantly now. So when u do make leap to t9, ur ahead of the game when it comes maxing gowiwi... Which some1 stated why not hogs at lvl4 its ez 3 on a t8... Well I have 3x GB's compartmentalized that would make all the fried bacon you want. Honestly, my fav t8 troop is level 2 valk, I'm all about a crazy red headed hillbilly dishin out splash damage and she's so quick most spring traps she sets off but not effected and gbs are not going to ruin ur day by no means
