Two Dark Elixir Storages Th10 Only
I believe there should be 2 dark elixir storages for th10 only. Before you go, "OHH, but there's already a BUNCHA dark elixir that th10s can store, and why make it more?", I will say that each of the two dark elixir storages should be halved in amount of dark elixir it can store. Like one dark elixir storage will be 1/2 of the amount before this comes out(if it does). I will list my reasons for believing this, and I will include the positives and negatives of this idea. I appreciate feedback greatly, just make sure it is not insulting and respectable. The feedback should tell me if you like my idea, if I should change any parts of it, or if you disagree with my idea and why.
Positives:
Two dark elixir storages=Destroying only ONE storage will get you only half of the opponent’s dark elixir loot(assuming none of the dark elixir is in the opponent’s dark elixir drills). This will help a lot in defending against dark elixir storage based attacks, and lightning attacks. Help in defending dark elixir is needed because dark elixir is crucial in upgrading your heroes to the max level at th10. Usually if you are a th10(non-rushed), mostly only high level th9s or th10s will attack you. However, th10s ,most of the time, only will attack you(considering you have a good upgraded defenses), and one strategy they might use is lightning attacks. Th10s can train 5 spells, which can be 5 lightnings, and 5 high level lightning spells on your single dark elixir storage when you have a bunch of dark elixir stored inside=2k+ lost, I predict, which can be a nuisance. Making two dark elixir storages will lower the amount of dark elixir you receive from 5 high level lightning spells. Another strategy your opponent may use is just deploying all his troops strategically to purposely try to destroy the dark elixir storage as a top priority. This can be annoying since all your opponent is trying to do is just “take” your dark elixir and “leave.” This is why I feel th10 should have two dark elixir storages.
Th10 Only
You may be thinking: Why are you only talking about th10s and not th9s? Well, I’ll explain. At th10, your defense becomes REALLY op(as if your maxed th9 defense wasn’t strong enough ;’) jk). You get the new inferno towers at the upgrade, as well as access to many defense upgrades, and another x-bow. But the big part is the inferno towers. I believe that the inferno towers will really help with protecting TWO dark elixir storages at th10, but at th9, all you have are x-bows(yes, they are strong, but not as strong as inferno towers), which sometimes(or most of the time) may not be very good in defending two dark elixir storages. Inferno towers is a big buff in defense, and a big buff sometimes need another big valuable thing to protect.
Negatives:
Now you may have seen some of the negatives of my plan. I think as good as the two dark elixir DEFENSE plan is, the raiding of two dark elixir OFFENSE plan may decrease. As I stated before, th10 need tons of dark elixir, and depend on raiding for most of that supply. Making two dark elixir storages may make it harder to get dark elixir for upgrading your heroes. However, don’t forget that there ARE op strategies and spells which can help you! Another negative is the extra dark elixir storage you have to defend. An extra valuable storage may ruin many good th10 base designs and be harder to defend two dark elixir storages rather than one(for ex: you may have had two of your inferno towers safeguarding your one dark elixir storage, but now you have to split them up to safeguard TWO dark elixir storages). However, we can design new base designs to fit this new idea.
