Modification Clanwar IN/Out system

First, I really like the new Opt in system, great feature.

The Default however is set wrong.

The default should be set to "I'm out" instead of "I'm in".

This should be reset to I'm out after each clan war AFTER battle cash has been distributed.

As clan co-leader I have difficulty keeping track of who is on vacation or what not. I only see those who opted out.

This would also mean inactive players would automatically be out.

Requiring players to opt in each war would make the opt IN/OUT portion of the game just about the perfect feature.

I think the default should be "I'm in", technically speaking

because...

before patch of the opt-in/out feature, when searching for wars, everyone is considered "I'm in" (that's why we had to kick invite before)

Players simply opting out would be the better idea.

Your idea means each war I have to change my settings.

I think it's best to leave it like it is now and just opt in as default.

We at least have the option now, that's way more than nothing.

And clan leaders can choose not to bring new people in a war.

Basically.. It's all up to every clan leader to choose their team and do we really need supercell to add another obstacle to prevent inactive players in wars.

Let the clan figure it out....

Default opt-in might work for established mature clans but is a pain in the butt for developing clans. When we let new players in, we do not know what will happen. We do wars on friday, i start spamming clan messages on monday for everyone to change their war shield to red. I spam every day even right before the war on friday. Still, people do not read or ignore the messages. As a rule, i also do not include people without league shield into war. After the war on sunday, i kick people out, including the inactive players without the league shield and full collectors, let new people in and the whole story repeats. Strictly speaking, at some point you should be left with solid dependable players but this has been going on for months now and it is getting annoying. Therefore i feel that opt-out should be the default and should be reset after the waged war so people have to think about what they are doing. Then, after a while you, as a leader or co-leader, can kick those out who do not actively participate instead of frustratingly watching them sitting in the war and not attacking.

Resetting the opt in/opt out at any stage renders it useless in most situations, regardless of the default.

Not in favour of automatic opt-out, or reset to unopted. We are a stable clan for many months, two wars a weeks, we don't need this busywork.

However, Leader should be able to change an opt-in to opt-out.

The issue is a Clan leader may not know that a player due to life situations may not be available for a war. Additionally often in younger clans and open ones as well players may not be active enough to know that a war is scheduled. Not everyone plays everyday. In an adult clan many things can change where a player may not log in for several days. The feature as is now is almost useless to us. Perhaps allowing the clan leader to set the default might be better.

For our adult clan often life has many quirks. Perhaps it would be best to give the clan leader set the default to in or out. With people vacationing and such as co leader I shouldn't need to manually keep track whether they are in or out for the next war.
