I agree, but the permanent damage boost upon deployment seems like a weird feature for a Clash of Clans troop. I think there is a better way I can enable the Volcano Mage to support all troops :)

"Dark Priest" is the Healer of Air Units Only. Because Volcanic Mage is look like wizzards only, i think that Volcanic Mage go to Level 7 Wizzard only ? That is my suggestion?
I think you should reduce the amount of buildings it can target at once...

I still think having it unlimited only while within his radius is the way to go on that; and then once out of his radius a limited duration is initiated.
Think about it drop a VM, then follow him.up with loons, or giants, hogs, or gobs (or a rabbit lol) basically all troops thatll run off and do their own thing, but since they passed through his effect area they get his boost for like 30 seconds or whatever limit you wanna set. Even with a boost that's limited, its still.a pretty powerful effect that can make a big difference in a raid (especially if they also throw in that inferno spell idea of yours). Picture a hog raid, powered up by a vm boost then amplified by rage spell and having their damage spread to multiple buildings with inferno spell.
I picture that straight tearing open a new ***hole up in a base ♥♥♥♥.
I really like this troop idea, just sharing my.opinion on what might be a good way to tweak it
