Everyone wants to be able to move whole base but...

I have seen a lot of people who want to be able to move their whole base layout in the base editor so it can be centered. However I have a much simpler idea.

Normally you would drag buildings to place. But what if you tapped one of the buildings, and it would be automatically placed in the center of the base? This can only work if nothing is blocking the way.

This will provide a much simpler solution to making a centered base layout than moving the entire base.

There is a marker in the middle which solves this problem

All I need to be hooked on this is more description in the thread.

SC put a marker in the middle of the base so we can stop guessing where it is.......put one wall or something over it and build your base symmetrically..........your problem is solved.

I know there's a marker. I use it. But it would be great if you just tap the building and it automatically goes to the center. It's just a suggestion and I thought it would be very simple to implement.

I don't think people want to move their whole base to make it centered. I think people (myself included) want it because when you are finishing up a new base design there might be a Christmas tree or some other obstacle you don't want to move in the way and it would be easier to shift the whole base to the left or right one instead of redoing the whole design.

Also the base isn't always symmetrical so even if you start a base at the center it may extend a bit further in one direction and not fit.

Auto placing a building in the middle doesn't really solve the issue everyone is asking for it merely makes it so you can ignore the marker in the grass.

Personally I would prefer to be able to move all the placed buildings at once.

Like what people are saying they out a marker in the middle just build your base starting there i dont see this as a problem

SC will not go through the trouble to make your base centering life easier.

Yes it's simple to implement. It was simpler to put a marker there instead.

No, the problem is that people use the marker in the center to place their TH, cc, de, whatever they want in the middle, but when they start building, sometimes one side grows faster and they want to shift the base.
