3 is nothing. If you were 7 you would get that :p. The mortars do lay waste to barbs and they take longer on Giants but ultimately; you can't 3 star unless the base is pretty bad and you use 2 healers after you take out an air defense with a lighting spell. Townhal 7 isn't bad. It's just too easy.
stop whining. everyone plays by the same rules in this game. adapt and overcome. this ain't burgerking and u can't always get what u want.
That's not a proper answer to a proper complaint. Anyone could use those exact words to shoot down any complaint or idea to improve the game. You add nothing to the discussion.
TH6's can't 3-star other TH6's except with a very-well executed attack using multiple troop types, excellent timing and deployment, and careful spell choice and timing.
Same with TH8's, TH9's, TH10's, TH5's, etc., etc., etc.
TH7? 3x lightning an AD, drop dragons somewhere. 3 stars.
It doesn't matter that TH7's can do it to each other, making it "fair". It's not balanced, and people are asking for some small tweak to bring a little bit of balance. No need to call people babies about it. Why should TH7's be able to get automatic 3 stars against each other, when every other TH level has to work for them?
So rather than shoot the messenger, or mock the complaint, why not try offering cosntructive criticism to proposed solutions. There are lots of ways to fix the problem, but most of the suggestions will break the game even more. But, there are multiple ways to fix the problem without ruining the game. Let's focus on getting a good solution to a real problem, rather than regressing to elementary school and making fun of the kids who can't handle a rough game of dodgeball.
Personally drags are fine it's a viable strategy and after a certain point in game it becomes useless honestly. If they could three star higher town halls with no strategy I would be on your side but since dragons, in a mass strategy, has limits after a certain point I don't see a point to fix anything

No if they gave TH7 the air defense, then TH8+ would get another one.
OP - While yes, maybe this would help, but I'm sitting at TH9 with the capped amount of walls. Every time we get something new, do we get new walls? No. Going up to TH10, I get 0 new walls, which is both a blessing and a curse. If you got the new air defense, what would you do about defending it? You'd run out of walls, and soon, you may be able to stop air attacks, but some of your defenses would not be properly defended for ground attacks.
Adding stuff to TH7 to try to balance dragons is tricky.
A new Air Defense? Sure, it would help against dragons, prevent at least some 3 star attacks.
But balloonion is already weak enough at TH7. Another AD would make it almost useless. As it is, a level 3 or higher AD can 2-shot a level 4 balloon. Balloons at TH7 are just too weak to use effectively against a base with 3 AD's level 3 or higher. Note, level 3 is the TH5 level of the AD. A TH7 with 3 level 3 AD's would be far harder to air raid than a TH7 with 2 level 5 AD's.
If you want to re-balance TH7, you need to do it with something else. Maybe another Seeking Air Mine? I shot down this suggestion a month or two ago, but that was back when SAM's could target healers. Now that healers don't trigger air traps, I don't have any objection whatsoever to giving 2 SAM's to TH7. Heck, TH9 gets 4, so I wouldn't even object to giving a third SAM to TH8, so that TH8 still gets a buff over TH7.
Archer towers maybe? TH8 gets two levels of archer towers, but TH7 only gets one? And TH7 only gets 4 archer towers, compared to 5 cannons. I think we could keep it at 4 archer towers, but unlock level 9 at TH7. Granted, archer towers affect ground troops as well, but that wouldn't be the end of the world. Level 9 archer towers can one-shot level 3 archers, but that's a TH6 troop against a maxed TH7 defense, so that doesn't bother me. It's not like TH6's have much luck invading TH7's anyway.
But let's not forget the most obvious way to help TH7's against dragons. Supercell should nerf level 1 dragons, even if only by a little bit. Maybe shave off 10-20 DPS, but let them keep the health. The health is important for them to tank for balloons/minions. Anything that encourages players to use troop combinations instead of single troop spam.
Will agree that dragons level 2 should not have been unlocked at TH7.
