cool idea and i want this but the day night by default will be based on user system date time not location gps...
location gps should not be there bcoz it drains battery and a lot of users don't always turns gps on they only turn it on while using map or map based application like ola uber,,, so day night should be on user current device date time
I am also in favour of Day/Night feature for clash of clan.Not only me,all my friends agree for this lovely feature.Please supercell, start working on this feature.I bet it will make more fans for your game.
This feature Will be pretty cool.I think you also have to add Raining and snow feature in it.I am pretty sure it will give game more realistic look.
I think SupetCell you have to work on it.

It's actually a great idea if it doesn't decrease the cooking time of the normal barracks and increases the time to cook in dark spells and dark troops.

Upgrading time will increase as builders need to sleep :p
