A lot of people want this just because it's a night system, and that it would be totally cool. The only problem with this is that it's a new graphic technically, and that it could cause in-game lag potentially. I'd like to see this idea, but will it mess with the smoothness and clear running of the game?

I've been wanting this since the very beginning. It gets super old looking at the same village all day long. Even things like facebook get facelifts once a year.
If anything it's a marketing strategy, it keeps people interested. Not to mention it would be so much easier on the eyes when playing in the dark.
Also, if this happens we should also be able to toggle it on and off as well as have the option to set it to time changes.
