New Defense Ideas

Recently I have thought up a couple of new and cool defense ideas. I personally like them, and if you have any other thoughts or changes, feel free to reply!
New Defense: Spell Tower (Subject to Change)
Essentially what the spell tower will do is drop a spell, or maybe more when leveled up. So, when someone doodles on over to your trusty village, and thinks they can get away with your precious loot or trophies, the spell tower is there to back up your defenses. For example, you could load it up with a rage spell. Now, lets say you are a town hall nine getting raided, and in your core you have two X-bows, along with the spell tower. When troops come in range of the spell tower, it drops the rage spell upon your defenses inside the core. Now that the rage spell is dropped, it will work like it does on troops, just on defenses for a short period of time.
Note: You would also be able to fill it up with a heal spell that can heal your defenses, or a lightning spell that can shock a limited amount of your opponent's troops with ease, or even a freeze spell to freeze up some of those troops right in their tracks.
Defensive Idea:
I was thinking that when someone is attacking you and they drop a rage spell, your clan castle troops or defending heroes should also be enraged if they are in the radius of the rage spell as well, or be healed by an opponents heal spell. This will create more of a need for spell placing tactics, and timing.

I don't think the opponents rage spell should work on your cc troops, but the rest of your idea I thought was cool and creative. Someone may suggest its too OP and that is very possible, I have not thought it through enough to say otherwise. I am too tired so I am going with my first take on it - Thumbs up.
