Should I upgrade my walls first?

So guys im a TH9 atm. Been in TH9 for the past month.

All of my defences are maxed TH8 levels. I already have my X-Bows (BOTH level 1)

The additional defences we get when we reach TH9 I have them at...

Archer tower 7
AD 5 (going on to 6)
Tesla 5 (going on to 6)
WT 4 (going on to 5)

My CC is at level 4. Should I upgrade it to level 5 and the rest of the gold I upgrade my walls?
Or should i focus on two defences like Maybe Mortar and an AT since I have 7 million gold and 2 free builders coming up soon.

My walls are mostly all purple except 22 of them are black ones.

*** If i upgrade my CC now will i be able to ask for troops or gain loot in wars cuz my clan wars every other day. It takes 7 days I believe so I just want to know what would happen if I decide to upgrade it now.

CC is prob one of the first upgrades u should get at TH9. When u get that out of the way u can ask for every troop.

With the spare gold, I'd say keep one builder down all the time and make sure to dump the excess gold into walls or u gonna find urself difficulties at the end with grinding walls, when u do them now and make sure to get some done now and then. U will progress much better.

And lvl 8 walls are just so much better then lvl 7 walls, for slowing down giants and other troops.

I maxd all my defenses, cc, barracks n army camps before doing lvl 8 walls. Then I did lvl 9 walls and just started lvl 10 walls. So I've been doing JUST walls for a month or two now. I would do walls last. If you get air raided no walls will save you when your Xbox is lvl 1. Also, was will shred your walls leaving ur lower lvl defenses exposed.

If you're a hardcore farmer, though, I guess you could do both simultaneously.
But we're talking about millions of lix and gold per day.

Max th8 d includes walls. I will max out walls before going to 9.I would do cc, ad, mortar/wiztower. In that order. While your waiting for upgrades get the other walls up to skulls that way you will have the option at least to burn both elixer and gold on walls i f youre waiting to upgrade something in a few days.

Ads are a huge priority after cc as they will stop a lot of war attacks from players like me. As for farming walls will stop barching with decent layout and upgraded splash. Thats why splash is third priority. Now this is what I plan to do. I don't know what range you farm in or what your wars are like. I'm just going off of what I know so good luck.

Are you going to do lavas (10 walls)? If not get your splash done (motars & wiz towers) then do some legos. After that let your gameplay style determine what you should do. I went to 10 with maxed D and 233 legos and 17 lavas.

Yes, you should do walls. Neglecting walls are probably one of the worst things you can possibly do, and being that yours are only lvl 7 (purple) you've got a long way to go.

I would entirely forget about defensive upgrades and get your camps, CC, and troops up. Offense always first. Then focus entirely on walls.

Pumping up defenses might look good on paper, but if you war it's going to put you up higher on the ladder and you will need a strong offense so you can hit mid tier and higher 9s.

Only defense I would really concentrate on if anything would be AD's. Given lvl 6 loons and hounds are such a thing, they are probably your most important defense.

Granted, it entirely depends what you prioritize. If you don't war and just farm, obviously AD's aren't as important as say mortars or wiz towers for barchers, and you should just upgrade as you go prioritizing farm troops and splash defenses first.

I think you have to upgrade your defences because that is the most important, but you don't have to forget the walls.
You can do 1 or 2 walls each week if you have to much gold.

Mix and match. If you get all your defenses done and all you have left to work on are walls, you're likely to get bored and upgrade your town hall without doing your walls.
