Basically until TH8 the game is great. You can raid at a moderate pace and easily fill your storages and build your buildings. Once you hit TH8 and move up, it gets a lot harder to do the things you were doing before TH8.
That's why I believe a lot of people quit. The amount of commitment required to maintain the same pace you were maintaining before goes up. The feeling that your base and capabilities gets more powerful as you progress diminishes. You in fact peak at TH7 and while your defenses and what not increase after TH7, your ability to gain loot drops dramatically.
This also has the side effect of causing powerful players to prey on much weaker ones. Which while related is another reason why people quit. They feel that it is unfair for them to be attacked by higher level peeps and instead of adjusting their play style to overcome that, they quit.
Finally there are the poor souls that concentrate on upgrading their town hall and collectors to the exclusion of everything else. They hit TH9 and are screwed...and quit. We call those bases farms. You know the TH9s with full collectors, ♥♥♥♥ walls, and ♥♥♥♥ everything else? You think they quit because their ♥♥♥♥ low level defenses took too long to upgrade? Really?
I stated this, although not as wordy the first time. You didn't counter it. You instead chose to blather on about not liking your picture or other nonsense and called talking to me boring. With a response like that, why should they bother to point out the flaws? Especially when the flaws have already been pointed out and summarily ignored or dismissed?
