Then how are you not able to comprehend the cons of this? This will mess up the loot system in terms of elixir. The game was fine as it is upgrading walls without elixir, it was likely one of the biggest mistake supercell made. Atleast now the more expensive wall upgrades can be upgraded with elixir. Just be grateful for that
Because, in my opinion, the "cons" don't outweigh the pros. I am grateful that they didn't remove it altogether, but I still think they should have kept it. I can't say for sure, and neither can you, that it did or didn't "cripple" the economy. Supercell likely actually changed it due to the (unjustified) outcry... an example of when listening to the community isn't always good... especially when it's the vocal minority. The game was not fine before in all areas. There were tons of TH8 bases with nothing to spend elixir on, then they allowed us to spend it on walls, then they took it away, now TH8's having nothing to use elixir on again. There is a way they can fix it to appease both parties (the TH8's and the TH9-10's)... something like the idea posted in this thread: http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...r-with-a-twist
You can still upgrade your walls with elixir! they just have to be 8+!!!!!
Ive been around a while but don't post often... Usually ends in an argument. N e wayz I was able 2 upgrade all lvl8 walls with only gold. Elix wasn't available in my early days. Those who say it didn't ruin the economy obviously didn't play much during that time. Elix was extremely tough 2 find. There is no solution 2 appeasing all players. Good decision 2 remove the upgradeable walls!!
 First, you will never appease ALL players, but you can try your best to appease as many as possible (as it stands now, TH8 players are getting screwed)... Second, you say there is no solution - what makes you so sure? The thread that has been linked here a few times already sure seems like a good solution to me. But wait, you said there isn't a solution, so I guess SC should just listen to you and give up on the issue! lol
