Why? At higher level the challenge should be slightly tougher. So more base to destroy in same amount of time does that.

It already is tougher. More strategy required. More expensive troops. More options.
Because three minutes isn't very long. It is long at TH2-5. Virtually every battle down there ended with annihilation of one side or the other. Three minutes limited all giant attacks, necessarily. Then limited all giant-healer attacks, for the same reason.
But at higher levels, most well-matched battles are ending unfinished.
When it takes two hours to train your army, 5 minutes is not very long for the battle.
no,the existing three-minute attack is reasonable and good
you need to plan everything before using your attack in the clan war.
- Lebron takes the rebound and heads up the court down by one. The clock is running out 3....2....1....He pulls up.....0......he shoots and he scores. Except it doesn't count because the clock ran out.
- The next day the Cavs petition the league that basketball games need to be at least 15 seconds to possibly a full minute longer.
Seriously, that's how ridiculous you guys sound. Take a step back from being butt hurt over your failures and you will realize that.
Who cares how long it takes to train your armies? That has nothing to d with the fact that you all need to get better at using them. There are plenty of guys that get the job done in 3 minutes so coming here to cry about it is the wrong approach. Go practice until you can do it.
And while you are at it rejoice all the times you opponent gets 99% against your base before they ran out of time.
Kid's basketball games are shorter than teens games are shorter than adult games.
TH 4 are kids games.
TH 6 are teen games.
TH 8 are adult games
TH 10 are professional.
Three minutes at TH4, Five minutes at TH 10. Ridiculous? Hardly.
No, I do not rejoice when a star is saved by the clock. I prefer tennis, where the winner has to win the final point, to other games with a time limit and formulae for time stoppages and tie breaking for draws.
My point is you are crying about the game being too hard for you. I am suggesting you dry your eyes and go get better at it.
BTW - You don't rejoice when an opponent falls a hair short? I am calling ♥♥ on that one. You can always tell the guys that are just mad they don't win because they start saying what they think will excuse their defeat as not their fault rather than saying what they know to be true.
Completely wrong. The game is not too hard. I prefer games to go to completion over games called by time. I don't mind time being called sometimes, especially when slow troops, healers, dragons, are being over-used, but when the majority of well matched battles are ended by the timer, the game is too short.
No, I do not rejoice when I win by a technicality. That's an anticlimax. I rejoice when a clever strategy succeeds, both in a attack and defence.
Neither do I rejoice when the attacker has a connection issue and the game plays out with just the first troops.
In real life, a tennis game is not a good win when the opponent retires injured. A good game is when both players play their best.
The best win is when a single barbarian destroys the last building. At the last second, ideally, but still, slightly longer at TH8 and above I would like.
